We were three, the waiter was all lost with our choices, he firstly got us half of what we asked, we asked for milk, he went in, came out, said there was no milk, we said, then bring a tea as you did for our friend, he goes in, comes out : "can't serve hot drinks on this side of the table at this hour" we (the two others at the table, that just got served, tea and coffee) then told him in French to just bring a beer for the third person, he forgot it, came back 15 minutes after that, to make us pay for the crème brûlée, tea and double expresso (17€) we said that he forgot the tiramisù and the beer. He said OK, we waited 15 more minutes, nothing came out, we just walked out of the terrace. My friend forgot his sunglasses at the bar, went there to retrieve them, the bar-man, very angry, told him that we didn't pay for what we consumed at the bar (we did pay for what we had, the 17€) but he seemed to be angry still.my friend accepted to pay him the 10€, that the waiter was asking for, because he just wanted his sunglasses back. Still, pretty shitty attitude from the lost young waiter that we had in the first place. And very badly handled from the bar-tender that we had when we wanted to retrieve the sunglasses. Worst...
Read moreMy husband and I visited your charming café, Petit, on our very first day in Paris, and it set the tone for our entire trip! The location is truly remarkable—nestled in the lively University Square, surrounded by stunning architecture and Parisian elegance.
We ordered a salad, duck confit, and a dessert, and each dish was exceptional. The salad was so fresh and delicate, it practically melted in my mouth. The dessert was pure bliss—it hit the spot after a day of exploring.
What truly stood out was the impeccable service paired with the culinary magic on our plates. Not only was the service flawless, but every dish was nothing short of magical.
A heartfelt thank you for such a memorable experience. We’ll be back on our next...

The fish were nicely battered and cooked properly so not greasy or oily. For once here in Paris, the chips (fries) were still hot. The staff seem run off their feet with the college crowd but they remained friendly and attentive. Overall, this was a nice dinning experience. The younger crowd can get loud and exuberant, so if you want a quiet dinner out, this might not be for you. For us, the staff and the food made up for any noise...
