On the other hand, the spicy piri piri chicken brought a thrilling contrast to the meal. The piri piri sauce was everything it should be—bold, spicy, and full of character. It added just the right amount of heat to the juicy chicken, creating a dish that was as exciting as it was delicious.

They know how to grill chicken to perfection!

5 friends went for lunch on a Sunday at 12:30 h. It was great that we made an online reservation in advance because the place is somehow small (for about 30 people) and popular (so it was packed).

Great ambience and service. The waiters were super kind and dynamic. The food was ready quite quickly.

We all ate the Piri-Piri chicken, with either fries, green beans, salad, or a mix of corn bread and pork (I think... I forgot the name).

The chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned, as well as the green beans.

In another Portuguese restaurant that I love (Nando's), they offer 3 varieties of Piri-Piri sauce, with different levels of spiciness/heat. In Nossa there is one sauce, and it is not spicy at all (not for us, at least). Good thing that they provide side suauce (for free) for you to add.

All my friends loved the flavours! (I should confess that I prefer Nando's Piri-Piri, though).

The price is excellent! We payed 12 Eur for half chicken + side; and that is a great meal! The dessert (pastel de nata) was simply ok (two of us did not like it... the rest didn't love it) for 2.5 Eur each. I have tried other pasteles de nata that I like a lot...

Nossa churrasqueira is a small and cozy restaurant that can accommodate around 25 ppl at once. Their speciality is the grilled chicken with a sauce and side of our choice. Apart from this, they also offer sandwich toasts with a variety of fillings to choose from, a cod dish (available only on Fridays) and the menu of the day. For entrèe, we ordered the assorted plate which had 2 types of rissols (shrimp and pork stuffing) and a beignet (cod stuffing). For mains, we took the the 1/2 grilled chicken with french fries, the cod dish and the menu of the day which was fried pork with clams. The fries were not oily and perfectly done. In all, the food tasted good (neither bad nor exceptional). The staffs were super kind and helpful and were very hospitable. It's a great place for having dinner with friends and I would definitely recommend the place for a visit (and more). P.S: I forgot to mention that the aperitifs were really good too.
