My visit to this establishment began with rude staff and ended with stale pastries. If you don't speak French don't bother visiting this place because if they have to speak to you in English it offends them. Also the pastries tasted several days old so I wished I had walked out before buying anything like I had considered at the time. Based on the reviews of this place this seems to be a recurring problem. To this business I would say try fixing your staff/product and stop apologizing for them in these reviews. Response to Owner's Reply: As I stated in my original review, your staff can speak English so that is not the issue, and the picture I took of your business and posted in my review means I clearly have the right business. The main issue was the tall young lady that we have seemed to have bothered greatly by simply trying to order pastries. In regards to reading past reviews, I'll copy and paste some of them below for you to read: 1. I’m super upset with my recent visit. I still love their pastries, but the cashier today was rude and treated me like I’m a liar. I paid her a total of €15 for some pastries that costed a total of €8.50. She only returned me €1.50. I had to ask fellow customer to explain to her that she short changed me. My French isn’t good but I’m also a regular customer. She just said she has paid me everything. The customers felt bad for me and said sorry that they couldn’t help me more. The cashier simply didn’t bother to check the register or to understand her mistake. if she needs to take that charge, go ahead but she needs to know she is wrong! I hope the owners will look into this incident as it is definitely a matter of trust to your regular customer. I am only asking for fairness! 2. The staff was boxing up pastries for a customer while my son and I were next in line. She moved to the cash register area and began to wait on new walk-in clients ordering breads. There were four in that queue but two staff. We stood near the pastry case then walked out. Guess not speaking French or being Asian was a problem for her. Had to explain to my teenage son about discrimination by shop girls. 3. Went to the store at 7am today for some bakery goods and was shocked that after i told the staff member i could not speak French very well, both she and another customer just started laughing at me and mocking me in French. Glad there are many other options in Paris that provide friendly customer service to all. 4. I hated this place. I’ve yet to see a more disrespectful guy as the one who “assisted me here”. Worst attention ever. 5. An extremely unpleasant woman at the checkout Which blows because after asking for sandwich bread I would like cakes. She takes the next customers at random and when a young woman points out that she was there before, this young woman is explained that this is how it is and that she just has to be patient! If their breads, pastries and pastries were still delicious, well that’s really not the case! Fortunately, there are plenty of friendly traders who make delicious products in the neighborhood. Need I go on...?

This is my favorite pâtisserie in thé City. They have pretty low prices. We went here every day of our vacation to try something new and were never disappointed. I know enough French to get by, and I suggest you do too when you come here. It is very busy and qui k paced- it could be easy to hold up the line rudely. They accept credit cards. Conveniently located near the Eiffel tower. 😍 10/10 would come back for every vacation here again.

Stopped in here every morning for fresh bread while we stayed in Paris. Our apartment was 20 feet around the corner. Staff was always helpful as I know maybe six words in French. Baguettes and croissants were warm and so fresh. Quiches were good. My wife said the fruit tarts she tried were excellent. They had tons of sandwiches read as well, but I didn’t not try them.

We travel to Paris for our anniversary and stayed in a hotel very close to this bakery, I just loved everything!!! From the moment I entered the place I saw all those amazing goodies!!! Everything looked so fresh and yummy, I didn't hesitate to order some food right away, it was morning time and I ordered one of the quiche, croissants, and fruit Tartalets... Honestly, I loved everything, the girl that helped me was very nice too even though my french is really poor and her english wasn't that good either, we totally connected... I missed this bakery more than I miss the eiffel tower, ok that's I lie🤭... I really miss both. I hope we can come back...
