It was raining and I was cold, hungry, and tired when I ducked through the door. I was shown to a booth back in the corner where I could watch the entire small restaurant.
Note: This is Europe, people. Some of the best restaurants are tucked in storefronts that are barely 20 feet wide. You may find yourself seated very close to someone. Deal with it. This is a feature, not a bug.
After a bit of back and forth with the owner (whose English is very good,) I settled on the #15 and was brought a giant bowl of authentic ramen with chunks of tender spiced beef. It was a perfect fusion of Chinese and French. Nothing trendy and nothing fake.
The clientele are locals. This isn't a tourist joint. Sophisticated older folks dressed to the nines and business people are the main customers. Nothing is dumbed-down or Americanized (although the menu is bilingual.)
All at a reasonable price with good service. Gratuity is not added to your bill. There is a tip jar at the register. They accept credit cards so no worries. I returned there again on this trip and it will be one of my first stops when I return to...

The male server was really friendly but not so much with the woman behind the cashier. I came to this area because I wanted to buy pastry from La Maison d’Isabelle, so after I already finished my meal, I took a few small pieces of my Palmier out from the pastry bag and put them in my mouth … and got called out by the woman right away …. I didn’t take the whole pastry out, I didn’t make a mess either, I already finished my meal. She pointed at me or maybe pointed at my pastry and told me to put it away and no outside food allowed.
