This used to be our favorite restaurant whenever we came to Paris. In fact, we would eat there multiple times per visit. Because of Covid, it had been 3 years since our last visit and we could hardly wait to have dinner once again at La Solita Taverna. Unfortunately our experience last week was very disappointing. We ordered our usual Caprese Salad and pizza. The salad always came on a bed of super fresh arugula. This time no arugula, just spring mix, most of which was old and spoiled and couldn't be eaten. And no basil! We always said the pizza there was the best ever, but not this time. They were very skimpy on the toppings, the crust wasn't as good as it used to be and it was left in the oven a bit too long. I asked the manager if we could have some parmesan cheese (a bunch of containers of it were sitting right next to me on a shelf) for the pizza, and he said no, the pizza already had cheese on it, and the parmesan was for pasta only!! The other manager who was always on duty on previous visits (and sadly wasn't there last week) went out of his way to accommodate guests. Overall we were...

First time several days ago was great, which is why I returned a second time. Maybe it was just an "off" night for the kitchen, but the vegetable soup consisted of a lukewarm watery broth with raw potatoes! I mentioned this to the server as he took the bowl away, and he offered no apology. The pasta arrabiatta consisted of overcooked penne swimming in a flavorless sauce. When I went to pay the bill, I noticed I was charged for the inedible soup And mention this to the server who conferred with the manager. No, said they, I would have to pay for it as the bill had already been issued! They did however offer me a coffee or dessert on the house which I respectfully declined, as I wanted nothing more than to make...

We had a lovely dinner here with Walid our server who spoke excellent English! My two children ate every bite of their 4 Fromage Penne pasta and Focaccia bread, along with chocolate mousse and limoncello desserts. Not an easy feat with picky kids. They also were happy to serve us tap water, which we needed liters of from sightseeing, and had a decent bathroom. It was a great place to eat after walking the seine and viewing Notre Dame. I can recommend it. Most around us were ordering the pizza which looked very very good and was also a good price. A pizza fed one person very well....a nice large plate full. Thanks Walid!

Horrible, i would NEVER ever re-enter that place yeah the food was alright but not worth the wait, we ordered pizza which one of them looked so burnt and everyone else got there food before us even though we was the first to come in and it was literally empty, it wasn’t because they didn’t have the food either because mostly everyone else in here ordered pizza just like us, they are absolutely appalling towards tourists i never ever plan on going back and i do not recommend it to anyone even if you aren’t a tourist, that places holds some horrible people.

Nice little pizzeria just a 5-minute walk from Notre-Dame Cathedral. The prices are very affordable, especially for Paris! We only had pizza and drinks – the pizza was tasty and fresh. A useful bonus: you can charge your phone at the table if you have your own charger with you. One downside is the restroom, which is located in the basement and only accessible via a narrow staircase – not ideal for people with mobility issues. Overall, a good place for a casual and affordable meal near the center of Paris.
