This place is undoubtedly a hidden gem in Paris. Not that it is "hidden" though. We arrive at around lunch time and the place is already overcrowded. It takes us a heap half an hour to wait for our orders to be brought out (normally, it is fine but we order mostly sushi so more than half an hour is not acceptable). To be fair, there is only one visible chef responsible for the sushi bar to serve like a dozen of table. Moreover, the restaurants give away a variety of appetizer dishes and drink during the wait. After the heap 30 minutes, the food finally arrives and they don't fail to amaze us. The fishs are fresh with no trace of smelliness or deteriorating in texture, indicating a rather high quality of fish rather than frozen ones. The maki are tightly rolled and cleanly cut, the accommodating sauce is well balance. Their gyoza is also top-notch with one side visibly crispy just like the traditional Japanese way, the filling is abundant yet light and flavorful. The only dish that is rather not outstanding is the unagi don (grilled eel on rice). The sauce is too powerful that it overwhelm the whole dish. I couldn't taste the unique flavor of the eel because of the teriyaki sauce but the overall flavor is fine when mixing with the rice. What is more, the price is surprisingly cheap for that much dishes. It cost us a total of 65 euros for 5 people to have such a fulfilling meal. I highly recommend to visit this place if you plan to visit Paris and want to fill the...

Excellent soup, sushi, service and value!

We've got 4 different menius and all of them had the delicious freshnes you will expect from this place! The Miso soup was an absolute heaven after a cold evening in Paris- it is the best thing you could order when you are freezing! The algae salad, also, delicious! And you cand see from our picturea how were the menius- we ate everything! The place is getting crowded after 8pm, it is advisable to book a table. But, the staff are very king and fast and they manage to find you a table even without a reservation, if you are willing to wait a bit. And your experience will worth the waiting, I can assure you!

All in one, excellent quality of food and service for the money! We've pinned this place to...

I have been here many times, but last visit I had a very disappointing experience. My gf and me arrived at 9pm on a Saturday (rush hour) and since the restaurant was full we had to wait. So far ok. After 30min waiting we were the next in the order of arrival. However the waiter decided to allow 2 groups of 4 people each (8 people in total) who were waiting outside to pass before us since the available tables were for more than 2 people. Very intelligent move if you want to optimize the space, but you might end up loosing customers as myself. Sorry but I am not coming back. There are plenty of sushi...

To start of two different waiters didn’t speak english… It was very frustrating trying to communicate and once we did we saw the strange expressions of the waiter that didn’t reassure us that our order was understood, though in the end a third person came and reassured us after a while. Food was great, the soup seemed a bit watery, the sushi was exceptional and different. The meat skewers were just amazing! I recommend this place for the food but i would not know what language you should speak to be understood 😅
