I went to this restaurant while I was visiting Paris from Canada for the first time and this was the worst shawarma I have ever had in my life. I had a beef & chicken shawarma with rice and potatoes with some falafels on the side. The beef and chicken not only tasted exactly the same, they both tasted extremely sour and dry. I got garlic and taziki sauces but they both made the food even more disgusting. The rice was very watery and veggies also tasted very sour. I don't understand how everything served to me was so sour. Even the falafel was extremely salty. I would like to invite the owner to Canada to have a taste of some real delicious Lebanese shawarma because this was an extremely disgusting experience. We paid 84 euros for such a bad food. This also ruined my evening because I was very much looking forward to eating here since the rating was 4.6. I also had to roam the neighborhood for over an hour to look for a parking. I gave it a 1 on 5 but that's too generous. I would rate my experience even lower than 0 if I could. What a shame. I should've gone to have something else. I would not recommend this place to anyone as there are much better Lebanese restaurants out there. Pita le Beirut does not deserve the rating it got.
RESPONDING TO THE OWNERS REPLY We did eat at Pita Li Beirut. We had Le Phénic, Fayrouz & Byblos. It's sad that you don't even know that your restaurant serves...
Read moreI wanted to love this place.
I went to use the bathroom and noticed they did not have any soap. I then asked for soap or hand gel and they did not have either available for the customers nor did they have any in the kitchen. As they only had one bathroom that means that the staff did not use soap to wash their hands either upon using the restroom or before preparing food 🤢🤮Ewwww.
Now to the food. The lentil soup was lacking flavor, I mean any sort of flavor and it was microwaved.
After being told that my wife had a sesame allergy they served her a slice of bread with sesame on it on top of the bowl of the flavorless microwaved soup that they served us.
The staff were kind however I have to give this place a very...
