The waiter told me to lower the sound and I did as they said (on iphone, the sound was only at 4 out of 16, which was just 25% of the maximum sound level). They did not mention at all that the others (talking in French of course) was too noisy but instead they insisted that I had to leave the restaurant to talk on the phone. That was ridiculous that people cannot even have a phone call in a restaurant (never heard that even in a michelin 3-star restaurant!). We went to Spezia not knowing what to expect. As Canadian tourists our family did not know what piadina was nor had we ever heard of it, however we were pleasantly surprised with the experience. We ordered piadina and loved it, the food was amazing. It came out hot and fresh with great flavour and the service was even better. Our server was max and he was great, we did not speak any French but he spoke fluent English, he gladly guided us through the menu and helped us find food and drink that we all liked. Amazing evening with wonderful service and great food. Came across this place at the end of a long day and couldn’t be more happy that we did - we were welcomed warmly, received our delicious food quickly and even treated with a complimentary refill to our wine, what else can you ask? We ordered pasta tartufo which was very good and a tasty padiana zucchini, both are highly recommended.
