Triadou Haussmann — Restaurant in Paris

If I could give this zero stars I would. We have stopped by here several times over the years. Mostly just for late night drinks and dessert. Good drink selection and a nice tiramisu. Typical cool and aloof service which is to be expected for foreigners in Paris. We thought we would try it for dinner as it had a few nice looking vegetarian options on the menu.

I'm British and my husband is American. I speak enough French to get by so always try. The waitress spoke some English and seemed keen to do so.

I ordered the veggie lasagna which was ok.

My husband ordered the veggie burger which came with tomato and lettuce on. He asked the waitress if they could leave the tomato off as he doesn't like it. She said it was no problem. When it came it was absolutely soaked in tomato sauce. All over the top and the bottom of the burger. The girl at the next table to us ordered the exact same burger and hers had no tomato sauce on.

I appreciate that it's a very American thing to make special food requests. But if it was such a problem they could of just said no to our request and my husband could of just taken the slice of tomato off himself. The waitress didn't apologize or offer to fix it. She then told us to hurry up and pay as her shift was ending and she wanted to go home.

We asked our French friends about it and they said clearly the chef was being a "*" because we requested a change to the item :-(

We won't be going back and we don't recommend this place. Plenty of much friendly alternatives with better food within...

Visit yesterday, September 25, 2025, 7:30 point of the inside.our server name was jugan( i was find his name in check recite) He Don't speak English no daught about it.we stile water he was served some tap water🤣. we was drinking and eating food also.

The service is unpleasant. The sale of drinks was refused (which is contrary to current legislation). We had to stay at the table and insist before a manager would come and ask for details and ask the server to serve us. After we oder some enter course 12 snails... He was come with some 12 eggs rolls when we are refuse he replay some bad word It's never listen in my life. Never coming this kind of mindset of server. He refused to listen to our explanations and told us that we were not welcome in his establishment. It is a shame and pitiful that the image of this institution has been damaged by a lack of good manners, politeness and professionalism... The response to this opinion (obviously when it is public and tarnishes the reputation of the establishment) disguises and deflects the unjustified aggression to which we have...

5 star service. I was on a photo tour with a client that I’ve known for 15 years and she decided at the last minute to eat here. I didn’t know the restaurant but I said ok let’s see what it’s like. She Irish American and I’m Irish and she suggested sharing plates, no problem there. She ordered entrecôte saignant and I had confit de canard, unfortunately neither was satisfying, I never leave steak on a plate, but I did today. It was tough and grossly. The duck confit should fall off the bone, it didn’t. It was undercooked. I wanted to complain but she preferred not to. I said for the sake of their future clients it’s better that they know about the steak being inedible. I’ve been in the business and I always say if you like what we do tell others, if you don’t then tell us. We were very disappointed and I did mention it. On a positive noté, the waiter was friendly and attentive. The price of 102€ for two mains, one desert, small bottle of water, glass of wine and a curaçao would be correct if the food was.
