Me and my wife visited Paris for the first time and were on the lookout for good Indian restaurants as we have been deprived of good Indian food since we moved to Frankfurt. We saw that the rating of this restaurant was good and our hotel was nearby so we decided to give this restaurant a go and we were extremely happy to know that we made the right choice. We visited the restaurant around 7 pm on Saturday and were the first few guests, we ordered chicken seekh kebab, chicken tikka masala on the server's advice and plain naan and it was absolutely delicious, mouth watering food. We found the quantity was less but the taste was super, absolutely brilliant. We were so happy with the food that we decided to go again before we left for Frankfurt. It was Sunday lunch time and we arrived at the restaurant at 12:39 noon, we ordered the same chicken seekh kebab, chicken tikka masala and a new dish mughlai chicken korma along with plain naan, we were given complementary small glasses of orange tropicana juice which was very kind of the restaurant. This time around the chicken kebab and tikka masala was not on the same taste as last time but the new dish mughlai Akbar korma was one of the best dishes i have tasted, the gravy was out of this world and the chicken was so soft that it dissolved in our mouth, extraordinarily good. We just mentioned to our server that the kebab was not that great and he immediately conveyed the message to the cook and the owner and immediately we got another complementary dessert on the house which was again so kind of the owner. Overall food and taste is 5/5. The ambience needs work as the place is buzzing and with so many guests they need to spruce up the ambience but I would recommend everyone who visits Paris and stays near the Gaite and Montparne area to visit this restaurant and you will definitely not be disappointed. A big shoutout to the owner and the server, they...
Read moreI was walking around Montparnasse at around 11.00 pm looking for dinner. I found this place and decided to eat here after seeing their reasonable prices despite being located in a strategic area in Paris. Plus, they are one of the few restaurants that were still open at that time.
I ordered the veal biryani for 14.9 EUR. Overall I think it was pretty good. It was aromatic and spicy. If you ask for it to not be spicy, they will cook accordingly. The size looked rather small at first but I was actually feeling full on my last bite.
The amount of veal was satisfying. The outside was quite tasty as it collected the spices but the inside was just the taste of meat. Among the pieces of meat on my plate, they had different tenderness. Some were very tender and went really nicely with the rice, but some were dry. I don't know if that was because they used different cuts of the meat.
The owner, Arif, was present at the premise and he was friendly.
Overall I would recommend this place to satisfy...
Read moreAbsolutely horrible! This was my first time coming here because the review on her said it was good but in my opinion this restaurant deserves a 0 star rating but I can’t so I have to give it a 1. The man who served my table was extremely rude. Gave us a small portion of chickenBiryani and didn’t even taste like briyani. It was just curry over rice WIHT CHICKEN and tomato and lemon. Didn’t even look the same in the picture on the menu on here. If it was like that I would’ve ordered chicken curry. The rest of my family got THIER own plates and all the portions were super small and the worse part is that it cost a lot for a small amount. None of my family members were full and it cost a total of 97 dollars just for small amounts. When the man knew that my family were mad all of a sudden he started acting nice then ends up asking if we’re gonna offer him tip. This is not a great experience for the first...
