Milano-Torino "Mito" — Restaurant in Strasbourg

Terrible experience eating terrible pizza. When my partner and I arrived the restaurant wasn’t even ready to open. Staff were preparing the restaurant during the first hour which meant that when our pizza was ready, no one delivered it to the table. Mine was cold and my partners pizza was very watery. It was so bad we had to send it back. The ingredients that are used are good, but the chefs don’t seem to know how to bring the whole Neapolitan experience together on the plate. On top of that, staff continued to open and close the very large awning whilst it was still light outside and not raining. This happened about 5 times, creating a dark atmosphere. When the waiter asked us how everything was, I told him “it wasn’t good” and his response was “glad you liked it”. Umm, what!? I never leave google reviews, but this felt like a big scam as the prices of the pizzas are not cheap! Unfortunately the whole dining out experience was a fail at this restaurant. Wouldn’t...

Went to the place which seemed pleasant with a friend but that's the only nice thing I can tell about the place. The menu doesn't allow much choices other than pizza even during the hot summer...

Ok! Not a big deal, but when we finally found a salad to order, it just didn't come... We had to enquire about our meals, just to find out they forgot us.

As an apology, the waitress came to offer a another drink on the house. We accept and she came back with 1 glass, as if my friend was alone on the table.

Then the Cesar salad arrived. Dry and not washed (we could tell by the way our teeth cringed on it)... And when we finally asked for the bill, it got tossed on the table... Got up, went to pay and.... Pfff! Don't even want to tell that one!

So, why would I recommend this place to anyone? Just...

We had a very nice overall experience.

The meatballs were generous and delicious. In my opinion, I’d add more tomato sauce and Parmesan because of the amazing size of the meatballs. I think the ratio of sauce compared to meatballs could be a little bit higher. Additionally, the dough that comes with the meatballs is out of this world.

As for the Neapolitan pizza, I generally liked it, but in my opinion, there is room for small improvements. The mozzarella cheese felt unmelted and not integrated into the pizza, which bothered me. It seemed like you could pick the mozzarella off as if it wasn’t part of the pizza, and the pizza couldn’t hold the cheese and toppings as well as it should, as far as I know.

The tiramisu was super great, a lovely ending.
