We decided to go to that restaurant for our last evening in Tbilisi. Alice Feiring recommended this place so we trust her and were very happy to discover that special spot. When we arrived, one of the waitress told us we would have to wait approx 30 to 35 minutes to be served. We agreed and sat down, ordered and then waited. 30 minutes, 35, 45….an hour. We went to the bar to ask where our dishes were as for now, and one of the woman working there became very agressive and condescending, asking us if it was our first trip to Georgia and tell us it was usual to wait such a long time (!!). In between, she went to told us that the dish we ordered would be delivered in 30 more minutes. How could you not know that it would take so much time? We would have changed our order if we had knew. When I told her it was very long for us now (more than an hour waiting…) she told us in a very aggressive way that we could go away if we wanted too. That was a very mean way to answer to someone only asking about its order. We should have believed all the comments and try another address…so disappointed by the behaviour of this waitress that told us she was busy because of the people there (the place was far to be full by the way) and when we left she was drinking a cup of wine with a table behind us, seemed not to be so busy. We were very sad about what happened there even if the food was indeed very good and the other waitress really...

Read moreWe had read interesting reviews of this restaurant and were looking forward to experiencing and tasting some excellent Georgian food. The atmosphere of this small and intimate restaurant was inviting. The service however, was anything else but inviting. The waiter was not welcoming of us nor of our questions about the menu or the wine. He was unusually indifferent, dismissive to us and we are not demanding people, we just expected to be greeted and served with a modicum of attention. The food was fine but undistinguished; no flavours startled us, nothing stood out. The salad was over dressed. We ordered a "bread assortment”expecting at least two different kinds of bread and instead received a small basket of one kind of rather plain brown bread. We found the food to be unexceptional, the prices high for what we got (and compared to other similar restaurants) and the service to be almost rude. Would...
