Family Kitchen of Tamar Machitidze — Restaurant in Tbilisi

During our vacation here in Tbilisi, we have purchased food here almost daily. Everything we have bought has been fresh, delicious and fabulous.

Everything here is take away by the way and everything they prepare is incredibly delicious ;)

The ladies working here have always been polite and kind to us as well, and their English is really good too. This was our favourite place to go during our visit to Tbilisi.

Great place for local food. The serving lady spoke some English and was very pleasant and helpful.

We had 4 items (2x eggplant, 1 corn bread, 1 chicken and cheese sandwichy thing) and paid 14 lari and then 7 lari for 2 very large strong lattes. Great value by the standards set only a couple blocks away in the tourist area.

The food was good. We will return to try some of the other items. The grilled chicken looked really good too.

There is an upstairs area but we were told they only do take away. We were given plastic forks...

Good selection of Georgian cuisine and some European with option for heated chicken, fish, and other foods, and drinks. About 3 to 4 staff average at a corner shop a short walk from freedom square, tbc Bank ATM or bankomat is right next to the doorway. This is translated as the house of coffee, but in reality it's a small cafe with a variety of desserts but mainly Georgian foods glass shelves on display for order.
