Squirrel Hostel Tbilisi — Hotel in Tbilisi

This is the filthiest hostel I’ve ever been to. I booked 4 days but I immediately cancelled 3 days and moved out first thing in the morning. I used my own sheets and threw them out after use.||You could easily get sick in this hostel. Beds and sheets are too old and unclean. Both toilets are inside the kitchen and the whole place lacks basic hygiene. ||Stop overrating because they offer free tea. Provide honest feedback for the next visitor! Check the pictures I took to see what I’m talking about. ||The owner Gregor is a crook. He’s untrustworthy and aggressive. He was pissed at me when I cancelled the rest of my booking. He asked me to cancel the whole booking so he would notify Booking.com as a no show because Booking.com wanted to charge him fees for the cancelled days. I didn’t believe a word he was saying. The next morning when I was about to leave, he was again pissed when he saw me taking pictures. He was very insulting and I was about to call the cops on him. My colleagues (lawyers) in Tbilisi asked me to file a complaint against him because he’s exposing tourists’ lives to danger and is damaging the friendly image of Georgians. During our trip to Georgia we stayed in a lot of different accomodations, and all were relatively cheap. The squirrel hostel was however the worst experience we had. There were insects in the dorm, a lot of noise throughout the night, the place looked as if it wasn't cleaner in ages and on top of that the beds were terrible. We are aware that the place is cheap but we've stayed in a lot of hostels for the same price. Instead of the planned 4 nights we checked out after 1. The only positieve thing was the location.
