Minh Châu — Restaurant in Aachen

I’m Vietnamese and happened to come to Aachen this week with my friend. We ordered Pho Bo & Bun Bo. It was good in first 1-2 spoons cuz we were hungry & the weather was cold. But to me, this is not authentic pho bo & bun bo. For Bun bo, most regions would use different kind of bigger rice noodle, which I think it more match with the soup. We also use different parts of beef in this soup. We don’t put beef ball inside Bun bo. My friend must ask for fresh chilli. Usually they must serve it from the beginning and customers don’t need to ask for it. They didn’t have special vegetables like saw leaves or coriander either. There’s also no soybean paste. Sadly, the food is very salty and the meat in the Pho Soup is very bad. It also had a sausage inside that was hard and not good. I requested less salt and less noodles in my soup and they didn’t take it into account. When I express my disappointment and requested a discount because I was not satisfied, the owner dismissed it and didn’t even had the courage to talk to me but left the service staff take care of it. One of the best Vietnamese restaurants I know. The place is not fancy, but it's nice, clean and tidy. It's located in a very cosy neighborhood. The amazing food speaks for itself. Price-quality wise you won't find any better. The service is very good. The guy is doing the service on his own, so he's very busy. In the kitchen two or three people work hard to make delicious food. If you're in Aachen, make sure you visit this restaurant. You won't regret it. Happy...
