Everything was amazing. When we came in there was a line to get a seat, so of course we had to wait even after paying, but the cashier was amazing and waited for us to get a seat before starting on our food and drinks so they would be as fresh as possible. Once we sat down we got our order and first of all, the black sesame latte was just heavenly. The second i tried the foam and the coffee itself i realised i had never had such deliciousness ever before. Not only that, but both the drink and the ube snow bingsu i ordered was the perfect blend of sweet, tart and bitter making it the best non-sweet dessert item ive ever had the chance of trying. Same goes for my friend's matcha tiramisu which was a little sweet from the strawberry jam but also delightfully bitter from the matcha. My own snow bingsu was really good, i wanted to try the ube flavour since it looked the most unique but i can bet that the rest should be just as good. Of course it was very cold, since its shaved ice but i can for a fact say that it was worth it. Also should mention that the atmosphere of the cafe was very dreamy and out of this world almost as if it looked like we were in...
Read moreI felt like I’m inside a comic book at this cafe! It has such a unique and creative design! The chairs, tables, windows, frames in-fact the washroom was marked and drawn in a cartoonish way. Just visiting there was worth of an experience! They offer some very interesting drinks including both vegan and non vegan options, Korean Bingsu Ice cream and a few selection of desserts. I tried one of their specialty, the Mango Snow Bingsu and Homemade Matcha Tiramisu. Bingsu Ice cream is basically milk based shaved ice with condensed milk. It’s just by itself is so very tasty and refreshing in the summer, but with mango pulps, cheesecake and whipped cream it tasted heavenly! I still have the taste stuck in my tongue I’m telling you! The Matcha Tiramisu complimented the sweet treat even more. It had a very intense matcha flavor in it so you definitely need to love matcha to love it! The sweetness was perfectly balanced with the sour raspberry filling inside. I had a great time there with the friendly and welcoming service from the team! Though being centrally located, the price seemed reasonable to...
Read moreThis themed cafe has been in my bucket list for a long time, and finally I can visit one in Germany.
My concern at the first time was that how dirty it will be, because everything is supposed to be white. But they seemed to have taken care of the cleanliness of the cafe pretty well. You might not notice this, but once you've taken a picture, it will be quite clear that the color has been yellowed a bit.
Now let's get into the food discussion: We ordered the matcha tiramisu. Tastewise it was really good, but it lacks the thing that made it a tiramisu. (I've tried a lot of tiramisu, even in italy). It is kind of the "wet" aspect of the tiramisu cake. As it stand it was only a sponge cake with cream and matcha powder on top.
I'm not a fan of this type of ice, because it is simply dry and cold, but it is just my...
