Cafe Latrio-Berlin — Restaurant in Berlin

Absolutely not recommended. We visited this place at the end of october, it was not very busy during the week, seeing the overwhelming positive reviews online, we decided to give it a try. And it was very very disappointing and the food is not reflecting the review AT ALL. Not only the service lady at the cash desk was very very rude, she even tried to pull us back to the end of the line because she couldn´t understand my girlfriend wanted a boiled egg. "please go back to the line, i am busy here, have you made decision? you want what? Whaaaat? Whaaaat?". We didn´t argue with her again and just picked the simple menue. And we cannot pay with card in an area where card payment is usual. And the food was really just ok, the omelette was even overcooked and cold. Nicely located turkish cafe opposite Monbijoupark and on the way to Hackershermarkt.

Basic menu reasonably priced with some very nice dessert options.

Had a cappuccino with my cheese breakfast, and to be fair, it was OK. The choice of cheese was adequate, as were the portion sizes bearing in mind the price of €11.

My main complaint was the very average cappuccino. Nothing to do with the equipment, as these were all more than up to the job. This was all about the training as it was too hot, lacked flavour, and was poorly prepared.

Hard to recommend this as a place to come and chill for a while, with so many cafes in the area serving far better food and drink.

Overpriced & mediocre food unhygienically prepared. 7:15am on a January morning, I'm the only customer standing at the counter waiting to be greeted & was curtly instructed by the owner to sit down. Fine. Shortly thereafter, a couple arrives & proceeds to order their breakfast at the counter. So I got the hint, and when they were finished ordering, I went back to the counter to place my order. This is 2025, & no credit cards accepted?
