Best Bubble Tea in Berlin! This shop is great. It offers an enormous variety of teas, milk- and pearl - teas as well as other taiwanese beverages. This place is a must go for all Tea and Bubble Tea lovers.
THE STORE The shop is really nice. With nice sitting spaces and a big Manga collection to read, this store has everything one will ever need. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable.
ORDERING + MENU When entering the store, you will have to go to the cash point to order. With nearly every beverage you will get to decide the amount of sugar and ice you would like to have. For many drinks the shop offers a cold / warm option. There are different sizes (medium/large). The price varies, depending on the beverage but it never surpasses 4€.
Apart from drinks you will see different asian snacks as well as dumplings and other small, handy foods the shop offers. After paying you will receive a bill stating your order. When the number on your bill is showed on the display or shouted out loud by the service, you may go to the counter and take your items in exchange for the bill.
MY EXPERIENCE I have been to both come buy shops in Berlin and i will definitely come back soon. The staff is always friendly and the people there often speak multiple languages (German /English /Various East-Asian languages ) facilitating orders for those who are not native speakers of German. Although you might find a long line leading out of the shop, I never waited more than 5 minutes before being able to order. The service is also relatively quick in preparing the drinks.
The beverages I have tried are: Taro Milk Tea Ultimate QQ Pearl Milk Tea And triple Q Maracuja (passion fruit) I have to add that I ordered all of them with only half the original amount of sugar and they were still sweet (which is a good thing). The Taro Milk Tea is what tasted best in my opinion. You can choose one of many toppings for this and maybe other milk teas. The clerk recommended pudding and I have to admit that it fit incredibly well with the taste of the Taro.
This shop is definitely a must go if you love asian snacks and...
Read moreI wish I would have the possibility to rate different options, cause I have so many mixed feelings about this place. Therefore: 1 star I gave it for the product quality and variety. I love it, i recommend it and I'll definitely try it again 1 star is for the shop/location design : modern, relaxed and comfortable 0 stars for hygiene - the bins war full, there was trash laying on the floor, etc. 0 stars for personal: very nice people, no doubt about that. But there were 4 people around, just 2 of them taking care of the customers and they were really slow. A third was making lists standing around when there was a huge waiting line of customers. Don't ask me what the 4th person was doing, I didn't really figure it out, but it didn't look like working. 0 stars for the 1 hour waiting in the line!!! On a nice sunny Sunday! Why did I waited that long?! Cause the friend I was with is rarely in Berlin and was very curious to try this otherwise delicious bubble tea. And after the first 15 min waiting I was really curious to see how slow they can actually move in a very crowded Sunday. The photo you see is been taken after half an hour waiting. One of the worse customer experiences ever. Next time I'll go to a place with a better organized team (the shop in Kudamm is better, they'll get the full 5...
Read moreWithout a doubt one of the best Bubbletea shops in Berlin. The quality of all drinks is very good, so 5 stars for the quality! Unfortunately the place was not very clean (tables were full of trash and dried bubbletea) but the staff, even though there are always many people working there, don’t care to clean the place up and they’re all squeezed behind the counter, unfortunately working very slow. (Hygiene 2 stars for me) So we are coming to the next point which is the service: i always went on days when it was really busy, like Friday or Saturday and had to wait extremely long every time! Although there are always so many employees (around 10) they all seemed squeezed behind the counter and working extremely inefficient (unfortunately:(() i understand that it takes time making there drinks but waiting for more than 1 hour is still unacceptable. (Service is 1 star for me) My tip is don’t go there on weekends or you will waste your time waiting in the queue...
