Atlantik Fischrestaurant Ayhan‘nin yeri — Restaurant in Berlin

What was supposed to be a festive dinner turned into a complete disaster. First of all, the prices are far from cheap, and the portions were small - barely enough for one person. We ordered the fish fillet, but it had bones in it. We also ordered a squid dish with some sort of tomato sauce, and this is where things got shocking. After the second piece of calamari, I could smell a horrible odor coming from it.

Calling the waiter over, I asked him to smell it and he was just as shocked. However, he himself admitted that this can happen when they mix leftover old ingredients with fresh ones. I'm sorry, what?! Where is it acceptable to mix spoiled food with fresh ingredients? Of course we didn't eat it again, and to our greater surprise the dish was not removed from the bill.

We also ordered a sweet white wine, but they brought us a dry wine instead. We ended up paying 50 euros and left hungry. Worse, it was my man's birthday and the evening was completely ruined. We both felt nauseous and stomach ache later on.

Please stop serving old, spoiled food. We dine out often and this was the worst experience we have ever had. Absolutely disappointed and would not recommend this...

If you like fresh seafood, This Is The Place. The grilled calamari was perfect as well as the grilled fish. You must add the Turkish red sauce to eat with your meal and order the the Raki to drink! We had 1 person with Celiac and were able to communicate "no fried food or bread" and our server understood. The person with Celiac disease had no issues because the fish/seafood was grilled and served with fresh ingredients. This is my second visit to this restaurant. I have lived in Turkey for many years so I am particularly fond of Turkish food and the Turkish language! The first visit was in October 2020, just before COVID shut everything down in Germany. That was a fabulous meal!
