Horrible place! I've reported this place to the Gesundarmt now. We visitrd the place on 12 June afternoon, bought a few items including a cheesecake for my 3 year old. She has almost finished the cake and then the cake fell on to the side. I suddenly noticed many metel pieces on the bottom of the crust. I took it back to show the staff, and a girl asked me "what do you want?!" I was like what a horrible attitude, firstly you should apologize and then we can discuss. I said I want an explanation and I think it's cleaning metal sponge pieces, she said it's definitely not. It's more likely caused by the metal scraper craped the metal cake tray. This is even worse than what I thought as an accident!!! The serve metal pieces to all their customers and the tools are definitely not for food use! Then I said I'd like to contact the person manage the shop, the girl said "you can check our website, but I can't give you any contact! " i was pretty pissed and said ill do and please refund this cake. The girl refused because I paid by card. She said all she can do is giving me a replacement. Oh hell, the metal pieces come from the cake tray and you offer me something from the tray as a replacement?!?! What's wrong with her, she clearly did not use her brain at all when she spoke 🙄! I sent an email to the contact on their website and no response at all! Untrustworthy business, please don't support a...

I found myself in a quandary as I surveyed the array of tempting treats, each one more tantalizing than the last. With great effort, I managed to exercise some restraint, settling for the German croissants, kardemom rolls, and two mammoth-sized loaves of bread that could double as both sustenance and self-defense tools—a perfect balance for this bread enthusiast.
So, if you find yourself in Berlin with a hankering for some seriously satisfying carbs, make a beeline for Zeit für Brot. It's a bakery experience that's bound to leave you...
Read moreI have visited Zeit für Brot several times, and at two of their locations. They never ceased to amaze me, since their ''schnecken'' were always super delicious. However today I ordered 2 cinnamon schnecken, and one was the usual great quality, moist, and full of delicious cinnamon filling, while the other was an utter disappointment. It had little to no filling, it felt as if I was eating plain bread, and what bothered me the most was the dough that tasted stale, as if it was 1-2 days old (I have eaten ''schnecken'' after a day or two and I know how the texture changes). It really bothers me, that this bun was sold at the same price as the other one, who was clearly superior in quality - the less-filled-stale ''schnecke'' really was not worth the price. The chocolate, and white chocolate-raspberry ''schnecken'' were delicious though :). Still I give you a lower rating in hopes this does not...
