Good location, at least
Ordered cortado and cannoli. Cortado came in two sizes, which is the first I heard of it. I got the small, which ended up closer to an expresso macchiato with condensed milk. Coffee was ok. I am used to the barista asking whether I wanted condensed milk. For such a small shot that was a really bad drink at the end of the day. The cannoli was not so good: very thick crust with lemon creme.
The other stuff in the fridge looked good, but I did not try any, so I can't judge.
The staff were nice. The location is good. Nice seating outside.
Sum up, it is a coffee place so 3.2 euro for not a cortado and such a small size - not ok (price location quality ratio). I would not recommend the place and definitely won't come back.
I am glad to see a response from the owner account. Let me clear things here, I am trying to share my experience and opinion. I hope it benefits the business and/or the customers.
Regarding my review: • cannoli: I have had cannolis in Italy so I am aware of how they should be. My experience and opinion is yours have thick crust, hard to bite, and stale (not crunchy). Sincerely, go give them a try. • cortado: I am not sure if that's specific region that make cortado as I had it or not. I have never been in Spain. But, I also have hard time to believe all other coffee places do it wrong or differently so my review stands.
I would love to see this place become better. It has great staff, location, and vibe. So, here is an idea that might help. Go check out other places and compare your product to theirs: For cortado, check out places in Berlin such as 19 grams (2.9 euros if I remember correctly). 19 grams is too popular then try Coffee shop Görlitzer Bahnhof and Kajumi For cannoli, visit Duo or Cicala Caffetteria Italiana.
You should aim to be like Kajumi. They have selected limited items in the menu and they are all good. No mediocre or below average...
Read moreThe coffee was a highlight of my visit. It lived up to expectations with a satisfying taste and good quality – perfect for a caffeine fix.
The velvet cupcake, although visually appealing and cute, fell short in terms of texture. It was a bit dry, which made it less enjoyable for my taste. However, for those who prioritize presentation, it still scores points for looking charming. Unfortunately, the toilet door was out of order, which could be a significant inconvenience, especially for those in need of it during their visit. The makeshift solution with a "knock if free" note outside doesn't provide much reassurance about the café’s overall maintenance. Hopefully, the repairs are on the way, but it's hard to say when they will be done. While the coffee was great, the dry cupcake and the inconvenient toilet situation might make you consider other cafés for a more relaxed and comfortable experience. A good option for a quick coffee, but not the ideal spot for an extended stay or if you’re looking for more consistency in food...
Read moreI used to enjoy visiting this place, but now I can no longer afford to subject myself to horrible service and indecent treatment by the staff.
Their disrespectful attitude towards visitors makes you feel just humiliated. They are arrogant about customer questions and requests, as if they think their time is much more valuable.
Overall, I am not going to waste my time and money anymore at this coffee shop with horrible service and disrespectful customer service. Find another place where you will be appreciated and respected and not poisoned by your day with your negative emotions. The coffee is good, but the service unfortunately discouraged you from visiting this place. To the owner: "Find a polite...
