Kuchel-Eck — Restaurant in Berlin

WORST SERVICE EVER. The food was OK but the waiter totally ruined our dinner. Like may reviews say the service is just hideous. I don't want to repeat what you can read 100 times in the other reviews, I just don't understand how this place still exists with such ABOMINATION of a service. Dear owner/manager, you should really consider maybe some trainings about hospitality your employees, cause I repeat again: MANY guests of your restaurant left a bad review because of the service, you're losing customer and hence money. Or maybe just hire professional employees, we'll it's not so difficult to be polite, just hire...

Definitely a place popular with the locals - my husband's friend took him here five years ago and he says it's every bit as good as he remembers. My Viennerschitzel was lighter than air, and the fries perfectly crisp. My husband also had the schnitzel, but with mushroom cream sauce and bratkartofelen. I was sorry I had no room for dessert, but we just arrived this morning and my tummy is being weird. Service is fast and friendly, and sitting outside watching the children play next to the St. Ludwig kirche across the street was simply lovely....

On 21.5.2025 had dinner at this lovely restaurant. The waiter and the waitress were super friendly and the food was delicious! I had meatballs and my boyfriend had schnitzel and it was both very delicious! After the meal the staff recommended the waffel as dessert, which we ordered. It came with vanille ice and whipped cream and was really tasty! Also we had a shot of malibu and cappucino, which were also both very nice! They go very well with the waffel! 5/5 stars!
