Marabu — Restaurant in Berlin

Shockingly rude waitress even for Berlin standards. The place was pretty full when we arrived so we asked two guys if we could share the table with them and they very nicely said yes. The waitress came up to us and aggressively asked us Deutsch oder English and seemed super pissed off from the beginning. She then berated us for sitting at the table with a couch and chair that were empty when we arrived and saying you will be uncomfortable there and that we should ask the guys that were sitting there. We were treated shitty by this woman the entire night who ignored us and had to go to the bar to order despite the woman taking orders from all the other customers at their tables.

Quite disappointing because the bartender was very friendly and drinks were delicious. Have been here a few times before and never had such a problem. Also saw other groups of people arrive after us to share tables with people they didn’t know that didn’t receive this...

7 years ago my friend and I found this bar at 3am whole wandering the backstreets of Berlin drunk. It was like a light in the darkness as we were cold. We had a great time and stayed until close.
