Mexicali — Restaurant in Berlin

I had a very disappointing experience at the Mexicali branch in East Side Mall. I ordered two tacos and clearly mentioned I have a serious allergy to the Guatemala sauce (avocado-based) and requested to have my order without it. The staff confirmed, but when I picked up the food, the sauce was on both tacos. When I politely asked for it to be corrected, the response was incredibly rude: “That’s your problem, not mine. It was a misunderstanding.” I explained again that I can’t eat it due to my allergy, and asked for a refund. He refused, and said, “Call the police if you want.” This whole interaction happened in front of my 4-year-old daughter and my wife, and the way we were treated was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. I’ve been a loyal customer for years, and never expected such terrible service. The other branch staff are respectful and friendly, but this experience was shocking. I left the food on the table uneaten. I hope the owner sees this and starts training staff on basic customer respect and food...
