Peter Pane — Restaurant in Berlin

Website is taking delivery orders — restaurant is NOT fulfilling deliveries. This past Sunday, we ordered 32€+ meal using the Peter Pane website for delivery. We ordered from the "delivery menu" and upon checkout, completed the "delivery information" (address and instructions on how to arrive to our apartment). We then received a confirmation that the delivery would arrive in less than 45m. However, 30 minutes AFTER the expected delivery time, we received call telling us that our order is available for pickup and there is no delivery service from the East Side Mall location. Of course, we asked how this is possible, given the delivery instructions we provided.. The answer we received was not an apology. It was "I don't know." We were quite hungry, so I drove to the location for our food an an explanation. I described the problem again when I arrived, "this is a real problem for your customers," and I diid receive an apology but nothing in return for the miscommunication and the cold food. We felt this was a total fail of customer service and technical capability. We have vowed never to order from this...

I had the pleasure of dining at Peter Pane in the Tamara Dancestr branch, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance of the restaurant is warm and inviting, with a cozy yet modern feel that sets the perfect tone for a relaxed meal.

What truly stood out, however, was the service. Our waiter, Sayed, was outstanding. From the moment we sat down, he made us feel welcome and took the time to explain the menu with great enthusiasm. His recommendations were spot on, and his attentiveness throughout the meal was impeccable. Sayed went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was perfect, without ever being intrusive.

The food was equally impressive. Every dish we ordered was not only beautifully presented but bursting with flavor. Whether you’re in the mood for a hearty burger or something lighter, there’s something for everyone, and the quality is top-notch.

Overall, I highly recommend Peter Pane at the Tamara Dancestr branch. Great food, fantastic atmosphere, and top-tier service, thanks to Sayed! I'll definitely...

The atmosphere is nice and the fries are tasty but their standard veggie burger is not so good and the portion of fries I got was so tiny. My partner had visibly more than I did even though his serving was pretty small too. I ordered a mango mint drink but it looked and tasted like fizzy water with mint leaves in it. Not even the slightest hint of mango. As well, the outside door is left wide open so even if you sit far from the door you'll have to eat with your coat on and take in the second hand smoke.

Just to add, they also have something called a "poutine" on their menu. It is absolutely not poutine. A poutine is a traditional French Canadian dish with fixed ingredients. It's not variable like a pizza. There are required ingredients that this blasphemous dish they offer does not have. Maybe this explains why there's no mango in their mango drink.
