Terrible experience. We know the bouncers at bares (specially in Berlin) are known to be rude, so I didn't think much of their attitude at first. At the entrance they asked me to give them my plastic water bottle, said they would keep it and give it back when we left. I thought it was reasonable even though my throat was sore and my voice hoarse. When we decided to leave, I asked for my water bottle back. The guy pointed to the box with water bottles. I told him it was not there and asked for it. He then shrugged dismissively and told me that if it was not there it costed 1,50 either way so I shouldn't be bothered. Such a rude attitude. Then they told my friend that sometimes they give some water bottles to homeless people or beggars because they can use it to turn it into cash in some stores. This made me even more freaking mad. If it's just 1,50 why don't they give their own bottles if it's so cheap? You just decide to give something that does not belong to you to "help" people? If you want to help you donate something that's yours. Basic rules of human decency. This just shows how bares and disco culture is so messed up in Berlin. People are treated like they are nothing specially If you don't speak their language. Ugh disgusting attitude. Btw the music inside was cringy and weird (pop music from 2007 and not even the good kind). Stay away...
Read moreAs the member of the staff i feel I had to express myself here .
The staff is very helpful, supportive and professional . They will make sure you have a decent drink and a great time there.
However after working 5 years in Gastronomy I never met a manager like the one from here. She has been passive aggressive, never had a good word to us, giving orders instead of explaining things in a more human way. Unfortunately this always put a pressure on the staff and the vibe was always a bit stressed when she was present.
What I found the most unprofessional , is to not communicate in advance that they don’t want to work with me anymore. She simply ignored my messages and removed me from the working group .
This is not how you treat humans , we are in 21 century. I found it important to express ourself and give constructive feedback each other in order to evolve.
I hope this message will find her as well and she can might...
Read moreIt used to be a nice place, I used to go quite often before covid, but now it became mostly just a tourist trap… The last time I even had a disappointing experience at the entrance, where a bouncer denied entry because he was annoyed with some girls finishing their own drinks outside, which clearly isn't allowed. It's a shame to see this place, once authentic and unpretentious, now resorting to exaggerated and cringe-worthy tactics in an attempt to attract more tourists. It's become a prime example of a negative gentrification. With unexplainable high prices, a way low quality of alcohol, bad music’s choices, mostly just tourists inside and...
