Standard Serious Pizza Mitte — Restaurant in Berlin

I agree with the comments about the service - it could certainly be more polite and a smile wouldn't hurt. The prices are also pretty high. Margherita for around €10, special(e) pizza for €15, but I'm still going for the 5 star review. Why? Because the pizza was just terrific in each aspect.

The crust was fluffy and really full of taste, well-seasoned. The ingredients were top-notch and there were plenty of them, not overcrowding, but delivering a lot od taste. All played great together and were just everything I'd expect from a great pizza. Definately the best pizza I've had in a while and one of the best I've ever eaten.

An additional nice touch is the fact that the pizza can be ordered here and they will bring it to the Mikkeller Bar next door. Thanks to that wonderful pizza can be paired with good beer. Mikkeller Bar does not serve pizza, even dough there's quite a lot of photos taken by customers indicating that they do. All that pizza is from Standard...

Here's the thing about this place: the pizza is genuinely good. That Marinara was solid.

But the service needs work. Friday night, busy restaurant - we get it. They seated us and took our order quickly enough.

Then we waited 55 minutes without any updates. We watched plenty of deliveries go out while our table sat there. When we finally asked about our order, they just said "They're in the oven."

What this means is the food arrived when we were pretty much over it. The pizzas were still tasty, but we ate quickly and headed out.

Bottom line: good kitchen, disorganized service. The food quality is there, but they need better communication with...

Just went there to have dinner, it was amazing! They have a couple of antipasti options, but the whole menu are pizzas, all of them carefully thought. The best pizza I ate in Berlin! You can see the pizzaiolos work which is really nice, they also have a really nice selection of wines. I had the pizza Porcinambur, I haven’t tried anything like it in a long time, I would definitely recommend it if you go! The waitress, Alba and Alexa, were the best! They had such nice vibes and good recommendations for the menu, plus they were putting such good songs on the speakers…A place definitely worth visiting if you’re...
