Ristorante Nuovo Firenze — Restaurant in Berlin

Servers were nice when they're there, they're dressed nice, and the ambiance was pretty nice. Service itself was very slow, it's a very slow restaurant, you'll sit here for hours. Food itself was good, decent, fresh, al dente pastas and piping hot. Glass of vino were poured fairly, and their merlot was on the tart side, not full bodied. Everything was just enough flavor... so, for me, not enough. Fresh pepper and fresh grated parmesan weren't offered with pastas. If you need something that's comforting, not too much flavor, that can settle the belly, this may be the place for you if you have at least 2-3 hours to sit down. It was nice to get olives and fresh, good bread after...

Meiner Meinung nach einer der besten Italiener in Berlin! Das Restaurant liegt etwas außerhalb vom Regierungsviertel und vom "Restaurantviertel" rund um den Prenzlauer Berg. Es ist jedoch mit Bus, Bahn, Auto und auch zu Fuß vom Hbf (20 min schlendern) gut zu erreichen. Das Restaurant selbst ist gemütlich eingerichtet und man hat bei der Inneneinrichtung wert auf Details gelegt, sodass eine familiäre und gemütliche Atmosphäre entsteht, in der man gerne verweilt. Besonders hervorzuheben sind hierbei die Bäder, welche wesentlich größer als normal und liebevoll eingerichtet sind. Von aneinandergereihten Toiletten keine Spur und in puncto Sauberkeit war auch nichts zu bemängeln.

Das Essen selbst ist vom Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis her sehr gut. Man findet auf der Karte nicht nur die 0815- Gerichte, welche man vom Italiener gewohnt ist, sonder auch raffiniertere Kreationen. So hatte ich zum Beispiel Ziegenkäse in Nuss auf einer Honig-Senf-Sauce als Vorspeise und als Hauptgang Tagliatelle mit Lachs in Hummersauce. Beides absolut zu empfehlen ! :) Der Kellner (der Chef?) hat sich viel Zeit für einen genommen und war auch für den einen oder anderen Spaß zu haben. Auch vom Akzent her würde ich sagen, dass er wirklich Italiener war. Keine Selbstverständlichkeit heute mehr ! Wie er uns erzählte, handelt es sich beim Restaurant auch um einen Familienbetrieb. Das unterstützt man natürlich um so lieber!

Insgesamt kann man das Pasta e Vino rundum nur empfehlen. Essen, Ambiente, Service - es gibt nichts zu meckern. :) Sollten wir nochmals in Berlin verweilen, kommen wir gerne...
