My wife and I stayed at a hotel near the Sandwich Bar for several days, and we LOVED the Sandwich Bar. It immediately became our morning breakfast spot before starting the sightseeing day. Even with the English-language name, it was a local cafe, and had many more German patrons than tourists, and the staff seemed to know many of the patrons' standard orders, including our coffee preferences after one day. This café has become our go-to spot every weekend, and for good reason! The food here is absolutely excellent—every dish is clearly made with fresh ingredients and so much care. Whether you’re in the mood for a hearty breakfast or something lighter, there’s always something delicious to enjoy.
What makes this place even more special is the owner, who is an absolute darling. They go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome, and it’s clear they take pride in both the food and the atmosphere. It’s rare to find a spot that feels this cozy yet top-tier.
Highly recommend stopping by if you’re looking for a brunch experience that’s truly worth it. We’ll be back here...
