A Rocky Start That Turned Into a Fantastic Evening at Ristorante Bocca Felice
Our visit to Ristorante Bocca Felice in Berlin didn’t start on the best note. When we arrived, we were left standing in the doorway for about 10 minutes, completely ignored by a waiter who didn’t offer to help or even acknowledge us. It was a frustrating and awkward beginning, and we were seriously considering leaving.
Thankfully, another staff member came to our rescue. He quickly apologized for his colleague’s mistake and got us seated right away. From that moment, everything changed.
The food at Ristorante Bocca Felice was absolutely incredible—each dish was cooked and presented to perfection, with flavors that exceeded our expectations. To make things even better, we were treated to a free dessert, which was a lovely gesture that added a personal touch to the evening.
What really made our experience unforgettable, was Tony, the owner. He personally took charge of our table and made us feel extra special. His warmth, attention to detail, and willingness to go above and beyond truly made all the difference. Tony ensured that we didn’t just have a meal, but a memorable dining experience.
While the evening got off to a rough start, the team at Ristorante Bocca Felice—especially Tony—turned it around completely. By the time we left, we were thoroughly impressed and couldn’t stop talking about how good the food and service had been. If you’re ever in Berlin, don’t miss this gem of a restaurant. The best Italian restaurant we have been...
Read moreWe had a worst experience in this restaurants and this dinner destroy our Friday night in Berlin. It’s all about the intimidate and pressured manner they offer. We want to order a lasagne we found in the Google map in their restaurant photo. We cannot find it in there menu so we ask in polite way. However, the clerk answer is “We are FINE DINNING restaurant!” ,”If you want to eat lasagne and pizza, go to the restaurant next street. Those are street food” We are so shock and surprise?! We already sat down and ordered a bottle of sparkling already. We feel like we are threaten and kicked out.
After we express we are leaving and the manager came to explain that “they change the restaurant product strategy for upper class dinning and no longer provide the lasagne. They really want us to stay and we compromised in the end.
The pasta are okay but not worth 20€ each. The Beef is overdone. The Lobster is basically for deco. Sparkling water also costs 7.5€. Overall the food is medium but not worth the price. Inside the restaurant, it is so hot and no efficient air condition. The service is definitely not a Fine Dinning restaurant should offer.
They offer us a compliment Prosecco and lemon wine in the end which can barely make up to anything they destroyed for our weekend.
The 4.9 stars of this restaurant is highly overrated. If they want to become a fine dinning restaurant, please retrain your...

Since google is not letting us to reply, I have to write here again:
I am sorry to state that but I do think your restaurant qualifies as a fine dining place — and with that comes a natural expectation around pricing and service. Of course, I understand that restaurant prices are naturally higher than supermarket ones — that’s completely normal. A 2x or 3x markup is typical and understandable, but in some cases, the pricing felt closer to 5x, which seemed a bit much for what was offered.
That said, I want to emphasize that the food was genuinely good — I made a point of mentioning that in my original comment. My suggestion wasn’t meant as a complaint, but rather as constructive feedback: perhaps take a fresh look at the wine list and pricing, instead of dismissing the input. Feedback, even when critical, is better than ordinary superb like comments, think again.
Wishing you all the best...
