The food was unacceptable, to the point we almost were ready to just pay and walk away. Small Pitcher of Margarita - basically had no alcohol, just a hint of Tequila for taste. A 22.5 Euro pitcher of lemondade. My wife had a shrimp plate where the shrimp had obviously been cooked much earlier and were flash heated in a deep fry. The result was dry and inedible. I had the Chili Colorado, advertised as "zarte rindfleischwürfel" in a hot metal plate. I know this dish, its with fresh meat that is cooked by the hot pan and brought to the table with the meat red in the middle. Visited the Mexican restaurant for a quiet dinner after a tiring day. Ordered a plate of tacos and a Sol to wash it down with. The food came rather quickly and I was offered a bowl of nachos with a dip too. The food was splendid and the portion size was impressive too, so much that I wanted to pack up the rest. The order taker had promised to get the food packed for me but when it was time, they brought me a little box and asked me to pack it up myself. The service prior to the meal was great and after I had eaten, I had to scoop up everything else on my plate and onto the take away box. Never in my life have I had an experience like this. While this place looks very interesting from the outside, I was a bit shocked seeing the prices for the food. But, I still wanted to give it a try and ordered a Burrito with beef and a quesadilla. I was hoping for some authentic Mexican food but soon found out its just some pre-prepared, uninspired sort of Mexican food. Very disappointing for the high prices. The staff was friendly and the best part was the free tortilla chips that came with the meal... If you want a cocktail and something to bite, maybe check out Tacos a few 100m further. The prices are reasonable and you basically get the same.
