Asia Gourmet — Restaurant in Cologne

Feb2025 I dont understand all the bad reviews. Food was fast, hot and very nice. Good price/quality.

Bad reviews: Too much people (duh, you're at a station). Staff not nice (they were nice to me, so idk) Expensive (€8-9 for a takaway box was fine for me) Food not tasty (I loved the food) Homeless people in front of shop (you are at a station. Those homeless are everywhere, its not the shops fault lol)

Idk, I loved the food, was not too expensive, it was nice and hot and fast and my foo was yummy. I just pointed at the what the guy in front of me ordered (it looked nice). I think it was the noodles with chicken or duck....

It’s called “Asia Gourmet,” but let’s be honest, the only accurate part here is “Asia” on the sign. The word “gourmet” feels like a crime against the dictionary. This is main station food — fast, cheap, and from ingredients that probably cost less than the cheapest train ticket to Cologne.

I was actually heading to Nordsee, but they had just closed, so this was my only warm option. The taste? Honestly, I couldn’t even describe it… because there was none. It was like eating the concept of emptiness.

Next time I’ll just stay hungry — at least...

I will suggest to not go to this place and if you go then definitely don't pay via card. I tried paying with card and they said it is not paid while it is not written anywhere on the receipt and the money got debited from my account. When I tried talking to them they talk very rudely and didn't even try to listen to what I was trying to say.

The food taste was fine but couldn't really enjoy the food as the staff...
