Pizzeria Pavone — Restaurant in Cologne

When I saw the reviews I was eager to come here, but after eating the food I was drawn to write a review. First, the pizza was store bought, anyone in their right mind could tell the difference between a fresh pizza and a store bought pizza. Secondly, the owner did not even know the prices of the pizza and proceeded to raise the price, which then my friend stepped in to make the shop keeper aware that his math was indeed not good. Third, the “restaurant” aka the front porch of their house is clearly in no state to serve pizza let alone food and has a coffee table with half a sofa and a small uncomfortable wooden chair. Also the place is cash only but the food was a good price!...

pizza was previously frozen (at a supermarket nearby) and thus overpriced, nothing less than hubris, a fraudulent attack on me and my compatriots. Heed my words, if you want a 'pizza' (freshly made) do not go to this establishment or rather...

Pizzateig ist wie Zwieback. Die backen die Pizzabrötchen auf Alufolie. Die Brötchen kleben an der Folie und sind nicht essbar. Auf Nachfrage hieß es "wir machen die immer so". 1 Euro für ein winziges Töpfchen Aioli. Der Wunsch die Pizzen mit knoblauch und scharf zu bekommen wurde ignoriert. Angeblich kommen gleich neue Brötchen, weil ich mich beschwert habe. Der Mitarbeiter am Telefon klang sehr desinteressiert.

Das erste und das letzte Mal hier bestellt. Kann die ganzen guten Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen. Wirklich nichts war hier überdurchschnittlich gut. Die Lieferzeit war okay.

Nachtrag: Neue Brötchen sind gekommen. Wieder auf Alufolie. Wieder nicht essbar. Langsam fühle ich mich veräppelt.

Der Mann der geliefert hat war aber beide...
