The restaurant offers an authentic Korean dining experience, where guests can grill their own meats at the table, a hallmark of Korean BBQ.
Track your stuff! The service is nice, but easily overwhelmed by bigger groups, and come out clueless where to place certain items despite having to order through a QR code at each table. Some items never came at all, and we were still charged nonetheless.
The menu includes a variety of marinated and non-marinated meats, such as beef, pork, and chicken, along with traditional Korean side dishes like kimchi, rice, and various vegetables. They also offer a selection of Korean dishes like bibimbap, bulgogi, and japchae.
Ordering at Gangnamstyle Korean BBQ is typically done directly from the menu, where you can select the type and amount of meat you want to grill at your table. The staff is usually available to help with grilling if you're not familiar with the process. Some guests opt for set menus or combos that include a variety of meats and sides, which can be a good way to try different items.
Pricing at Gangnamstyle Korean BBQ can vary depending on what and how much you order. On average, expect to pay around 20 to 35 EUR per person, though this can increase if you order premium cuts of meat or a lot of extras. Drinks and additional side dishes may also add to the overall cost.
Seating at the restaurant is typically at tables equipped with built-in or portable gas grills. The ambiance is casual and lively, making it suitable for both small groups and larger gatherings. It's a good idea to make a reservation, especially on weekends or during peak dining hours, as the restaurant can get quite busy.
During summer, it gets very hot inside and you might be better off ordering at an...
Read moreI don't understand how this restaurant can have such a good rating.
We received plates that were still wet from the wash, and glasses covered in fingerprints.
Within 10 minutes, the servers broke 3 glasses in 3 different areas of the restaurant and left a piece of glass behind us, never noticing they were stepping on it.
They all seemed overwhelmed.
The reception was disastrous. We had reserved a table for 5 and still had to wait outside in the rain for 10 minutes before they told us to come in and sit at a table that hadn't even been cleared yet.
When we sat down, no one explained how to order or the concept of the restaurant.
I should note that we were a group of tourists and did not speak German. However, the menus were translated into English (online) and we were able to choose our dishes via an app.
Now, let's talk about the dishes:
Main ingredient: sugar. I hope you like sugar fries, sugary rice, and sugary chicken.
Second ingredient: huge amounts of food. I felt like a pig being fattened before slaughter.
Everything was greasy and heavy on the stomach. They didn't skimp on breadcrumbs or oil.
The most paradoxical thing is that they market the restaurant as an excellent Korean BBQ place. However, the prices for 200 grams of meat were all at 23 euros. Meat you have to cook yourself on a hot plate (so not even the excuse of labor costs).
Finally, and this wasn't mentioned outside the restaurant: To access these miserable 200 grams, a minimum of two people had to choose this barbecue option.
Horrible experience, horrible service, greasy food that will give you diabetes.
Portions are OK. But quantity does not...
Read moreLong Story Short Food was good but the Restaurant lack Service people and most of all Experienced people in Service.
The food was enjoyable, compliments to the kitchen. However, the service was untrained and bad . It lacked proper supervision. At a table for five, we initially ordered one glass of wine for 5 at start along with one large sparkling and still water with five glasses. Unfortunately, I received only four water glasses instead of five, and there were three different sizes of wine glasses for the five of us. One water glass was missing until the end of the meal. We planned a BBQ for five people and later discovered that the rice was missing the entire time. When we asked the service for the missing rice, we were told that only one portion of rice was provided per ordered meal, rather than bringing the missing rice. what a nice gesture . We had our own Problem , The entire dinner table remained cluttered with dishes from start to finish The table was too small for five people to comfortably sit at, but regardless, it is what it is. But at least, they should have cleared out the dishes after the meal was done. While I appreciate Korean food, it wasn't the ideal choice for a birthday dinner on that place, and I still have lingering trauma from that night. I am even wondering if the service personnel are trained to ask the guest everything is ok with the service or ask them how was the food and all at the end of the meal. I know most of the Restaurant don't care about the review on top but too many bad review here so , here is one more I didn't even bother to take picture but this was our table the...
