The waiter who took our order saw him and said nothing, but when the food was served by another staff member, he began shouting loudly across the terrace: 'No dog! No dog!' I think it would have been more appropriate to ask me politely to remove the dog from the chair, instead of creating a scene and shouting at the customers. Is this normal practice at this establishment?

I calmly removed my dog from the chair, but my mood was already ruined by the unpleasant incident. The food and drinks were mediocre at best, and the prices were quite high.
