Kuchen Atelier — Restaurant in Dresden

Beautiful place with a good atmosphere. Unfortunately, had a bad experience there. The staff acted irritated. We just asked for coffee, but it felt like we were forcing the barista to do something that he really didn’t like. Careless serving of cups of coffee, the lids of the cups were completely thrown on the table... The coffee also turned out, unfortunately, tasteless and at the same time expensive.

I very rarely write negative reviews, but there is nothing I can do about it. The mood was ruined.

Perhaps next time the impression will be more pleasant if we decide to visit this...

We traveled from far to visit Dresden and unfortunately it was raining, so we Googled nice place to have some coffee and dessert. The staff (old blond lady) was so Arrogant to us. Even though we saw at least 2 tables without reservation, she told us there were no tables for us. Neither did she show any effort to figure something out, nor did she tell us to just wait few minutes. She indirectly indicated us to be gone. After all, this place isn't...

[Aktualisiert] Nach einigen erneuten Anläufen, hat nun doch alles gepasst. Der Service war freundlich und top. Gute Karte wie immer mit passender Livemusik. Geschmacklich nach wie vor solide aber es fehlt noch das gewisse Etwas.

[Alter Beitrag/3 Sterne] Eigentlich 3,5 aber es gibt leider die Option dafür nicht.

Das Ambiente ist sehr entspannt und gemütlich gehalten, Klavier definitiv ein Plus und die Preise der Innenstadt und der Einrichtung entsprechend. Die Torten und Teilchen sind optisch hervorragend, geschmacklich aber durch die prominente Optik zwar gut aber ohne das gewisse Etwas. Macarons würde ich persönlich nicht empfehlen. Getränke sind okay und eine Auswahl ist da.

Nun zum größten Punkt: Der Service! Insgesamt würde das Kuchenatelier eine solide 4/5 erhalten, aber die Qualität des Services fluktuiert zu stark. An einigen Tagen fühlt man sich wirklich willkommen, an anderen kann man froh sein, wenn man diese zu Gesicht bekommt und wenn es soweit ist, die Miene einem nicht den Aufenthalt für die restliche Zeit vermiest. Da es aber mal so mal so ist, sind es 3,5 Sterne. Sollte sich das ändern, aktualisier ich meine...
