We went on Diwali evening, hence the place seemed very busy. The order was taken quickly, which is good. But then we were left unattended for a long time. Despite calling the staff multiple times, we waited for the next order and refills of Naans while eating. The guy was quick and got us the refill as quickly as he could. We understand, it was rush hour and they were busy. So the allover service was decent. But FOOD was HORRIBLE for me. The masala tea was a brown color hot water. Chaat papri was decent , but the chef must know that a key ingredient is diced onions, which I'm assuming he is unaware. The Vada-Pav was literally BURGER with fries 🤣. I have never seen a lattice is Vada Pad? The Dal Makhani was BITTER. The palak paneer was bland. No flavor, just a mixture of creme, palank and yellow panner! (and NO it wasn't roasted either.) And finally the naan, it was anything but naan. Brittle, crunch irony of a naan was the offspring of a Papad and a Tandoori Roti. All in all, the food was bad for me. The service was decent (we can understand it was a busy day, so it's perfectly ok.) and the place is pretty clean. If you are in Dusseldorf, you can try once, just get the reservation done if possible. Probably some dishes may be good on non-busy days? But I can say about the ones we have tried. Thank you for the service. (3/10) ⭐

Erinnert stark an einfaches Fastfood Restaurant.

Eatdoori has turned out to be the best Indian restaurant I have come across. The food, ambience, staff is great. I had previously visited their outlet in Köln and only wished one would open up soon in Düsseldorf and Voila 👏🏻 I happened to be there on their opening day and the restaurant was at its maximum capacity but still the staff managed everything smoothly and everyone was welcomed. Mr. Kanwal Gill was there personally and I noticed him interacting with guests, staff and managing the evening perfectly. The food was just Outstanding. Taste, Presentation, Menu - just fabulous. I had the Papri Chaat and it was so so delicious. It is a must go to place for chaat lovers. Decor is on point. The theme is ‘Faces of India’ and this has been so well depicted in the interiors of the space. I wish the Team at Eatdoori lots of success and will surely be back soon for some mouthwatering Chaat 😀☺️

I booked a table for 2 on Monday, 2. May 2022 @ 18:45. and reached on time. Placed our order for 2 drinks and 3 Starters. The drinks arrived on the table within a few minutes, but 30 minutes passed by and the starters still had not arrived. So we decided that we move inside the restaurant than sit outside where we were initially sitting to make ourselves visible in case the waiters forgot our order. Soon it was 50 minutes since we got there so I reminded the waiter again that we were waiting for the starters. Plus I ordered 2 main course as take away cause till then I had already lost my appetite and patience with no food on the table. When an hour passed I was a bit upset and told the waiter that if I do not receive my food in the next 15 minutes I am leaving and that's when they started getting food onto the table. I did tip them 8 Euro which was 10% of my bill but personally I wasn't willing to do cause the service was bad and also the food wasn't cooked well as expected. The chat was all soggy and the chicken wings were not cooked well either. I am an Indian, a foodie and an excellent cook myself so I know how long does it take to cook and how it tastes. The price was too high too for the quality of food served. Only plus point were that the staff was polite and apologized for the delay. The next time I want to spend money I would rather go...

Firstly, we liked the ambience of the restaurant. It was really good. But, the food and service came to the disappointment. We felt it's overpriced as per the food and the quantity. We ordered 'Home style chicken' and 'mango lassi'. Mango lassi is great. But, 'home style chicken' was below average. Naan was also not good. Regarding service, I rated 1 because the staffs are really not aware of in which plates, they should serve the food. When I asked the guy for a bigger plate, he mentioned that, we serve in same size of plate, but if you want, I can give you another one and then he went inside, asking to wash the dishes. There, it was obvious that since the plates were not washed, he wasn't bothered about the service. And, to our surprise, we observed that he was providing standard size plates to every table after we asked the same. Overall, the experience was not that good. If you want to try Indian foods in Düsseldorf, there are some great places to visit which are quite...
