This restaurant really reminds my wife and me of the Japanese irresistible deep-fried proteins. Each time we are in Dusseldorf, we will make a point to eat here due to the authentic taste. This time we ordered Unagi Katsu and 4 Colors Karaage. 1. Unagi Katsu : Indisputable deep-frying technique on the eel. The exterior was light and crispy. The inside was moist and flaky. The thinly shredded cabbage was great palate cleanser in between bites. The sweetness of the Kinpira was just right. The miso soup gave warmth to the soul. The rice was to die for as this is how most Asians love their rice to be. The Furikake on the table as one of the condiments was flawless accompaniment to the hot-steaming rice. 2. 4 Colors Karaage : The batter did give crispy exterior. However, the marinade of the chicken was a bit off. The ginger taste of the marinade was slightly overpowering. My wife and I preferred the original Karaage. Somehow the flavor profiles of the hot, curry and sweet sour sauces did not bring cohesiveness to the dish.

This was my first time dining at an authentic Japanese tonkatsu restaurant in Germany, but I was disappointed with the experience. Having enjoyed tonkatsu multiple times in Japan, I found three pieces of the Tonkatsu here to be entirely fat. Fortunately, after I mentioned this to a server, they replaced them with three new pieces. You can see from the photos. However, when another server brought the new pieces, they were unfriendly and rudely took away the fatty pieces I had set aside, making me feel as if I were being greedy and trying to take advantage of the restaurant. I am not that kind of person; I just wanted an enjoyable dining experience. While I understand that I was not in Japan, I was still surprised by their service and attitude. I hope the restaurant can improve their service quality to provide a better experience for their customers.

We went to this restaurant on Holy Saturday and the whole area was packed with people. Had to wait for an hour to get a table since reservations were not an option. However, the waiting is usually not that long, last time we came the waiting time was around half an hour..We recommend coming at around 7, to allow enough time for queueing since the kitchen closes at 9 and after some time, the waitresses start sending people away. Nevertheless, the food is so worth it, even if it is much more expensive in comparison to the prices in Japan. We got the fillet katsu set and the chicken katsu set and the meat was very tender and moist. Don't forget to add the wasabi& seaweed powder to the rice. We also got warabimochi for dessert. The waitress was lovely and polite. We overall enjoyed our visit and we will keep coming back whenever we come to Düsseldorf.

I had an unpleasant experience when ordering takeaway from this restaurant. The waitress was impatient and borderline rude, rushing me to pick up my bag immediately after I paid, even though I was just putting my card back in my wallet.

While waiting outside for my food, I sat on a waiting bench in front of the store. They came out again, telling me to move to the end of the bench in an annoying tone. I get they might need space for dine-in customers, but the way they spoke to me was off-putting, as if I was a nuisance.

To top it off, they never informed me when my order was ready as I waited at the end of the bench. I had to ask, and when I did, I received another unpleasant look. Turns out, my food had been ready for a while, and she handed it over without a word, just that familiar annoying face. I started to wonder if I did something wrong by ordering takeaway😅

I hadn’t visited this place in three years, and this experience convinced me not to come back, no matter how authentic their food is. If they don’t like customers ordering takeaway, they should just say so instead of treating...

These waitresses were super rude. I hope they could be nicer to other customers. We had 4 people on the table and we ordered only 3 dishes I understand there were 4 people and we only ordered 3 dishes might be not happy for them but it was only I and my bf were not hungry. In the end, they got the order wrong and they served 4 dishes and we refused to take the other one. They started to be super rude to us. No eye contact for whole time after it happened. Additionally when we asked for the payment they don't try to reach us no offense we felt "oh we could just leave and they don't care". Finally when the waitress came, she didn't try to ask to pay seperately or together. Just standing there and whatever we try to figure it out to pay seperately was none of their business. She decided to just leave cuz it took so long time becuz we were figuring out pay how much we have to pay for each. So we decided to pay just together and we finally could pay and left here. I don't know if they are not happy about not everyone on the table order one menu. Just...
