This restaurant is an all-you-can-order sushi place where you can order up to 5 items per round, with a total of 8 rounds. Unfortunately, the experience was far from enjoyable.
First of all, the service was extremely slow. We were seated and then had to wait 20 minutes before they even gave us the code to start ordering food. The most frustrating part was that not everything we ordered actually arrived. I never received my unagi sushi, tamago sushi, or any of the special menu items. We counted, and almost half of our orders never showed up. The waiting time was ridiculous. Even though there’s a timer that tells you when you can order, we kept placing orders because nothing was arriving. By the time we ordered the fourth round, our sushi from the first round finally came.
When the food did arrive, it wasn’t even fresh. The karaage and fried ebi were cold. We could see the food sitting out, but the servers were too busy chatting with each other to bring it over, so it just sat there.
To make things worse, we kept receiving dishes we didn’t order. We checked our order history, and those items weren’t there, yet they kept coming. Meanwhile, the items we did order never showed up. When we complained, the staff was rude and unapologetic. We asked what certain dishes were, and they couldn’t even tell us.
Overall, it was the worst sushi dining experience I’ve had. The atmosphere was chaotic and loud—you could barely hear the person sitting next to you. I definitely would not recommend this place and won’t be returning.
The only good thing? The drinks were decent, but...
Read moreWe reserved a place and went today for lunch. The restaurant was full, so it took some time until we got the dishes we ordered, around 10-15 minutes. And the dishes didn't come altogether, the first one we ordered we only got the Yaki Soba and then waited for another 5 min to get the next dish, and another 5 min for another dish (all were ordered in the same round, though).
The ordering system is actually nice, but would be great if it could be faster to get a response. We waited for around 10 minutes until a waiter came to our table and we could pay.
The worst experience was the last round we ordered. We saw that they have ice cream so we ordered one. A waiter came to us and asked which flavour we wanted (he said they have mango, matcha, and black something), so we said we wanted two mango ice creams. He already confirmed our order, so we waited. Until around 20 minutes waiting, we finally decided to leave without the ice cream. Another waiter came for the payment and we asked about the ice cream, but he said there was no mango ice cream available. They could have told us so we didn't need to wait for so long.
I gave 3 stars bcs it's pretty decent for the price (taste wise is OK). But the service (waiting time) and the organization could...
Read moreYou're going to the wrong place if you care about food quality. However, the service and atmosphere were fine. Regarding the food, the sushi rice was really poor quality. It was brittle and mushy compared to proper sushi. I wonder if they even use sushi vinegar to make their sushi rice. Secondly, the fish quality was really poor. Even though we spent money on sashimi, some pieces had fish bones in them! They were thick cut and not even consistently cut. Just terrible taste and texture. I could not even finish it. The fish in some of the nigiri and rolls were better, but that just means average. The meat was acceptable. It is difficult to judge the quality of the meat when there is so much sauce on top of everything. Lastly, the desserts were a disappointment because half the desserts were not available. There was no ice cream or mochi available. The fruit tasted stale, like cardboard, and it was not sweet at all. The melon tasted like nothing. The deep fried banana and deep fried raffaello were okay, but honestly, it's just because it is deep fried. Anything fried tastes okay. I wouldn't recommend this if you are serious about good food, but if you want a place with a "cool" atmosphere and is more instagrammable, you...
