The karaage was greasy and barely crispy; the texture was oddly pulpy as well, like meat that had come right out of the freezer straight into the oil fryer. The rice looked okay but was hard and lumpy in the mouth - possibly also pre-frozen then microwaved? I question their widespread use of disposable items - food containers, cutlery, even my green tea came in a paper cup. This is a restaurant and not a food truck. The chicken is juicy and tender and can be served in a variety of sauces. As a purist, I always go for the classic! The size is decent for its price and every portion is served with rice.
