Maruyasu Immermann — Restaurant in Dusseldorf

I come for the tempura due to the review and got disappointed as tempura is no longer served in tht restaurant. However, that leave opportunity to try something different and it was worth the visit. I got myself a curry rice and it is probably the best curry rice (Japanese) I ever have at least in Germany. The curry is well balanced in flavor, extremely rich and thick yet smooth like cream and goes down the throat easily. It is so thick that it coat the fried chicken without making it soggy, which is rather difficult to achieve. The fried chicken (tatsuta age), on its own is also a real treat. It is well seasoning, juicy yet crispy on the bite. However, I found the already prepared food section just acceptable. I got the kakiage and it is barely crunchy (it suppose to be). At least it taste good with the sauce but other than that, nothing special. The price is not bad for the meal. I spend around 15e including drink...

I had food here about a week ago and I can’t stop thinking about it 😭 So tasteful.

First impressions as i walk in was “wow i need to try all of them!” - I did not try all of them, the options were endless. 😂

The food is presented behind a display where you can choose it piece by piece, which adds up in the end. There were some really cheap options eg: fried chicken for 2,70EUR, rice for less than 2EUR, dumplings for about 7EUR and so on.

Biggest highlight for me was the maki sushi. It tasted really fresh! Anything I tried tasted amazing and this is as authentic as it gets.

There is lots of room and seating around the restaurant.

People do communicate in english and the service was really fast.

I went there yesterday for the first time with a friend and the food was really good! We got one of the noodle soups and each one of us a drink. The workers remained calm and friendly even tho we went in shortly before they closed (we should have looked at the opening hours, my apologies). The prices are reasonable and we spent around 15€ per person (without drink, with drink 17€). They have alot of food and sitting options and the bathrooms are clean too. (Walked into the bathroom while one of the workers was cleaning but he apologized immediately even tho he didnt had to😅). If you want to eat something from there after 7:30 pm, they still offer...
