Have been eating from here since moved to Germany, everytime it has been excellent. However , this time we got two pastries and both were spoiled. There were various flies also where eatables were kept. Not seemed too hygienic this time around. Had to throw both pastries, highly disappointed.

Neat bakery in a rather crowded area - I come by here every other day before heading to work. Staff is always friendly, coffee is good (Filter or Crema) and pastry, Brioche-sandwiches, croissants and bread are amazing. The hallway of a former cinema, the bakery still owns two old chairs.

Sweets were good, but as soon as the girl at the counter understood that I was not able to speak german, she treated me in a very bad way. First, she did not help me at all with the sweets that I had to choose (i pointed at them and she pretend not to understand what I wanted), then she spoke to me in german and she was not asking me basic things (and she looked very annoied during our interaction) and, finally, she left the food at the payment table (she handed the food to all other german customers). What the hell? Is not beeing german a SIN to you? Dusseldorf is full of people that come from every part of the world, you should be able to treat them like you treat...

Eine geniale Kombination von Bäckerei und DHL-Postfiliale:

Die meisten Postfilialen sind alles andere als einladend - hier ist Platz und selbst das Warten macht Spaß. Der Raum mit seinen Bistro-Tischen und -Stühlen ist hell gestaltet wirkt aufgeräumt. Tageszeitungen und Zeitschriften liegen bereit und das Angebot an Kaffee, Kuchen und Snacks verführerisch.

Die Öffnungszeiten sind auch außergewöhnlich kundenfreundlich: Montag-Freitag 9:00-19:00 Uhr! Samstag 10:00-18.00 Uhr!

Nachtrag: Bei DHL superfreundliches zuvorkommendes und stets gutgelauntes Personal, keine Wartezeit - diese Kombination findet man heutzutage sehr selten! Die gute Stimmung der Mitarbeiter ist ansteckend. Ein großes Lob an das Personal: So wie es ist, soll es bleiben.
