TENTEN COFFEE — Restaurant in Dusseldorf

Provider of Matcha, caffeine and takeaway baked goods & sandwiches, Tenten is easily accessible in the Little Japan area and makes for a calm spot to spend the morning waking up or working. They provide free wifi and the staff is quick & friendly.

Although the cortado came out to be slightly bitter and burnt (overextraction or the bean?) I loved the Turkey bagel with its compliment of cream cheese and sweet-sour sesame sauce. The matcha latte is sickeningly sweet but suitable for anyone with an adequate sweet tooth. I suspect matcha tea would be a better choice for anyone more inclined to savouries.

Ambience is great, love the asian lo-fi mix, great atmosphere to either sit and work (plenty of seating) or to just relax.

Really rude staff, a guy with glasses and cap (he could speak french). We have ordered two drinks and sat down, we finished our drinks pretty fast but wanted to chill in the coffee house (our table was cleaned accordingly after finishing our drinks). After he saw us sitting there without any drinks even though he made the drinks for us in the first place he pointed his finger to the cashier and said „you order at the cashier“ and left. Then he came a second time and just said: „Get out“ ??? We told him we have ordered them already. He asked where they are and didnt want to listen and just threw us out. Please learn to talk to customers! Just avoid this place if he is there, other than that the drinks were reasonably priced and...

I was today here, and I asked for a caramel frappe machiatto, first they forgot to put the caramel inside my coffee, and filling the espresso inside half of it the waitress trow it away but he didn't fill it up, my friends only had problems with their orders and he was really rude to them, shouting them after his mistakes that the wrong orders will go into the trash for their fault when that wasn't true. I went back to ask for a shot of Caramel because my coffee was just milk, and the answer from the rude men waitress was we don't do anything for you, if you want you can come back to the line and pay again. I will never come back again and I hope people like that get fired if they can't be able to be friendly...
