More than loved my experience here💙 As soon as I entered, they handed over a white colored card and a blue colored alarm to me. I was supposed to swipe these on the machine to place an order in just few clicks.
Menu on screen was available in Deutsche. One of their female employees who spoke English well helped me navigate to all of that.
When order is ready to collect from the counter, the alarm rings and then I was supposed to get up to collect the order. If one feels like placing more orders, one can swipe the same card and the dishes and the due expenses get added.
I ordered dumplings with hummus and lemon ice tea, they served complimentary bread with it topped with sesame seeds . All of it was delicious. I wish I could have more of dishes but because I went solo, had to order restrictively.
When I was done with my meal, they collected utensils from my table, left the alarm on the table and taken white card with me to pay the cashier at the counter.
What stood apart is their seating arrangement too. Every corner looked equally appealing to sit. I couldn't choose whether I should sit outside or inside, in this corner or that corner, because they had variety of seating arrangements and all of them looked so catchy!
Music wasn't too loud, it was just perfect! Lightings too, reminded me of Pullman hotel and Mia bella restaurant in India, but this was just the grand version of that. Bar was also inside.
I would definitely want to be here again💙infact I sat at the nearby park so that when I feel like my stomach can accomodate more, I could come again same day after few hours💙
I visited here because a friend recommended this to me and I am so so thankful to him for making me have something to eat here. What my friend also noticed is that they have dedicated staff doing dedicated things, and kitchen guys were preparing stuff in the open, not secretly inside the closed walls.
Just look at the pictures! They don't do justice though to capture the flavor and appeal of this restaurant. And despite offering such big infrastructure, incurring so much of overheads and operating costs, they managed to maintain low prices of the dishes 😮 no wonder, people were constantly walking in even during the afternoon! Can imagine how would the peak hours look like.
It might be overwhelming for elderly though, I saw mostly youngsters there. Solo ones were a few. No elderly was found. But I think it would offer a memorable experience...
Read moreThings you needed to know!! No reservation possible or necessary Most of the time you will find a place No waiters Self service After ordering via screen, wait at your place for the pager to inform you where to go(don't go to the cooks and ask when something will be done) People will come to clean the table, no need to carry it around
So let's start. I was looking for a nice place for an early dinner. I checked a few restaurants but since I did it the day before, there were no reservations open anymore. I found bona me and It said to come by without reservation, plus the reviews were good, with some interesting points. I love efficiency!! So I was like let's goo!
Service We came in and the host gave us our card and that's it. We didn't know how that works and where to do what. So we walked around and checked everything. But in the end, it is self-explanatory and we understood fast. The cooks are nice and either floor manager or general manager was also walking around and answering questions. Overall nice staff and efficient service. Ordering was easy with he screens and every step was explained with pictures and animations.
Food It is I think Turkish based food or middle east region. So the names don't really tell me anything but the pictures were good enough to help understand. I had the taco special, which is Turkish ingredients taco style. Visually it was good, even if it was a bit full. The taste was as expected and I liked that the pita was really thin. The eating experience was not so good, because the food was falling out of every side, and there was no plate to coach it, so it was falling on the tray, which probably is not the cleanest. I didn't want to eat with the fork because of the taco experience which is to eat with your hands and get a big bite out of it with all the flavors mixed. So a nice idea, but the execution was lacking. The Angus meat was good and grilled to the right point and the bulgur salad has the right amount of dressing, nice vegetable mix and overall good composition.
Ambiente Really big but still cozy with the colors, lights, and decor. Different seating areas and styles for different moods. A lot of open space so you still feel some privacy but not lost. I think on point interior design.
Price The price is right. Salad plus extra meat and a beer for 18,90€. That's a good price for the area.
Totally can recommend this restaurant for...
Read moreWhere should I begin? This was my first time here. I had no idea how the system worked and had to wait a very long time to have it explained to me due to there only being one person at the front desk who welcomed new guests and also acted as cashier. All those ready to pay there bill were attended to first before I got served. And that was a wait!. The young man explained the system to me in a machine gun tone like an automatic rifle. I only heard the half of it due to loud music and the fact that he explained everything quicker than blinking your eyes. I ordered my meal at the terminal but it was not self explanatory how to finish the order. That accomplished I waited for my take out. I ordered 1xManti and 1xBeyti plus bulgur salad. The manti was ready and blinked on the order puck. I picked it up. Then I asked about the other order and was told I had to wait as it was being made by someone else - at least that is what I assumed as I could not understand the server. I waited quit some time before the Beyti was ready and in the meantime my other dish was getting cold. They packaged it up in an enormous amount of plastic bags and duly forgot the bulgur. I had to go back and wait again. I paid without problems and left.
To the food.- what can I say? The Beyti were just tortilla like wraps filled with meat (which in fact were just whole hamburgers) and then drowned with copies amounts of yoghurt sauce and a spice red tomato sauce. Would never eat again! The manti were tasty but after I ate the first layer I found another 2 hamburger patties laying there hidden. Who in God's name needed these. In general the tast was good and I would eat again without the 'meat'. All in all not such a great experience and I think maybe other dishes would be better i.e. no meat. Will try maybe one more time but it's not high up on my list. Has nothing to do with food culture unfortunately. It's basically Vapiano...
