It was an amazing experience from start to end. Celebrating a friend’s birthday there in a group of 7. Best seat in the house! High ceilings with floor to ceiling window panes capturing the view of Frankfurt. Service was impeccable starting from the hostess to the head waiter (shoutout to Alessandro) and all the other waitstaff. The starters of osysters are plump and fresh, clams were yummy with the touch of ginger in their sauce, the handmade pasta was cooked al dente. The star dishes were the mains - best lamb rack in Frankfurt thus far - plenty of meat and it was falling off the bone. The other star dish was the slow cooked beef. That was a party in your mouth. We were spoilt with choice on the Dessert. From tiramisu to molten lava cake. We moved on to the bar after dinner - because the service was irresistible. Stayed til it closed. Cocktail was delish (try their espresso martini). Highly recommended spot for special occasions.

This recently opened restaurant was recommended to me by a colleague and I have to say that my experience was just perfect! Certainly the prices are not low but the place is very nice, the atmosphere is great and the view is magnificent! I had fish (sea bass with a yellow tomato sauce) and the dish was delicious, fish cooked to perfection and very tasty sauce! The side mashed potato was not very interesting because not seasoned but otherwise everything was perfect, including the service with the small touches! It's a pity that there is no menu in English but my waiter did everything possible to advise me so it was all good. I will come back with pleasure on my future trips to Frankfurt :) PS: Ti amo anche io, is usually the answer 😉 You will recognise yourself, and thank you for the kind word!

We got the Ochio D‘oro 4 courses experience- it tasted good, nothing too exceptional; i would put maybe 1 more star for the food if it was a normal average-priced restaurant but if you pay €100+ per person lets say it becomes a bit dissapointing and mediocer. Service was very good on the waiters side but what annoyed us was that we really had to wait 30-40 minutes between each course, which is really a long time! We arrived at 8 and we had to leave at 11 without having the dessert included on the menu, to not miss our train. They discounted the price of two wine glasses to make up for the never arriving dessert. The view from the restaurant is amazing. I put 4 stars only because the tables are so close together and it gets a bit too loud.

Toskanisches Genusskonsulat – Occhio d’Oro, Frankfurt
