Ristorante Gallo Nero — Restaurant in Frankfurt

Short review : AVOID AT ALL COST. Service is almost borderline rude. Poured water all over the tablecloth when pouring into glasses. Didn’t offer the wine menu or even asked if we wanted some. On asking for the wine menu he just threw it on the table. None of the wines listed were by glass. Upon asking he offered two options by the glass without any information on which wine. Yhe food order, he forgot what we ordered and confirmed it twice. The wagyu starter was an abomination and disrespectful to the animal and the cut of meat. The tbone steak which I asked for as medium rare was presented as rare (borderline blue). Upon sending it back the chef decided to throw it on to (what I can presume to be) an overheated grill. Burnt and charred it to hell. Took 4 bites in hopes of finding a bite which was not burnt or bitter but couldn’t. Decided to cut my losses and not waste my palette on this absolute disgrace to Italian food (or even food as a whole). AVOID...

THIS RESTAURANT SERVES BREAD THAT OTHERS USED TO EAT!!!!

I come here often and boasted a lot about this restaurant to my friends in Seoul. But today here staff gave me bread that someone else was eating at my table. I got angry, but they didn't even apologize to me. The behavior of the staff who didn't try to listen to me was very rude and disappointing. Anyone can make mistakes, but what really pisses me off is the unapologetic attitude of the restaurant staff! Even the brazen manager of this restaurant urged me to quickly pay and leave even though I was making a claim! This is a restaurant run by a dirty and very ignorant owner who takes all the money while giving me bread that other customers have buttered and left behind!

Sehr tolle Location. Positives zuerst. Wir waren zu dritt hier essen und haben uns alle für das Menü entschieden.. Vorspeise waren Ravioli mit Tomatenfüllung. Die Hauptspeise Fisch ( Skrei ) mit Kartoffel und Gemüse. Der Nachtisch Zitronenkuchen mit Zitroneneis. (Leider kann ich nicht genau sagen wie die Gerichte heißen, da in der Karte nur Menü stand. Wir haben dann gefragt und zu Antwort bekommen: Ravioli. Skrei und Nachtisch. Mehr leider nicht )

Es War auf jeden Fall alles sehr lecker und man hat Frische geschmeckt.

Und jetzt das negative. Für ein Restaurant das so viel Geld für seine Speisen verlangt erwartet man etwas mehr Service. Man hat gemerkt das Stammgäste chauffiert wurden ohne Gleichen. Uns hat man am Anfang nicht mal Getränke angeboten geschweige denn die Speisekarte. Das Essen und die Getränke kamen dann recht zügig. Dann hat es leider etwas angefangen zu regnen. Wir wollten draußen bleiben und haben den Service gebeten den Schirm zusätzlich zu öffen, was er auch freundlich bejat hat...dann aber nicht gemacht hat. Dann hatten wir Espresso zum Nachtisch bestellt. Auch dieser wurde erst am Ende vom Nachtisch dann serviert mit einem...oh..sorry...vergessen... Die Toiletten sind sauber aber in die Jahre gekommen. Was ich nicht verstehe ist, wie man noch mit Endloshandtüchern arbeiten kann. Fazit : Essen und Sauberkeit ☆☆☆☆☆ Freundlichkeit und entgegenkommen vom Service nur *. Wir fahren sehr viel durch alle deutsche Städte und gehen in jeder essen. Und seit kurzem bewerte ich auch Locations. Wenn aber der erste Besuch auch diese negativen Erfahrungen bringt...und das bei dem Preis... dann überlegen wir uns ob wir dort nochmal hin wollen. Denn scheinbar reicht den Herrschaften das Stammpublikum aus und sie wollen keine...
