Tridico — Restaurant in Frankfurt

Terrible service. Utterly terrible. 15 minutes just to get a menu. I asked several times and either was ignored or they never came back. It wasn't like I was shouting at them for it, I asked politely every time. It wasn't even that busy. When the menu arrived I ordered straight away out of fear of them never coming back to take my order. 40 minutes for a plate of pasta. Is horrendous they were actively avoiding coming near my table. Finally got it and asked for the bill straight away. That took another 20 minutes. Never going back and I will be warning all of the clients and team I am here on work with to do the same. Beautiful, spacious restaurant, nice distance between tables, clean and inviting. Excellent service for all time, communicative (3 languages) but not overwelming. And food... The quintesence of italian cuisine - seems to be simple but presentation and taste is excellent. We had specialites out of regular menu (check enormous peccorino and parmiggiano near the bar) - 'paccheri peccorine e gallinaci' and 'tagliolini porcini tartufo al parmiggiano' - even better than to years ago! Watch chef Michele Tridico from Calabria doing it for you - never forget! Would return everytime when in Frankfurt for best Italian food nad atmosphere....

Please be careful before entering and ordering food. During the exhibition we waited an extremely long time for the ordered food, the staff could not communicate, avoided us. The steak was undercooked, but they solved it and cooked it for us. When paying our bill of €134, they charged us an extra €40for the alcohol we didn't drink. We had to go back and claim the bill. They returned our money without a word of apology. I don't feel good about it. I do not recommend...
