I recently had the pleasure of dining at a Persian restaurant and I must say, it was a wonderful experience. The food at this establishment was absolutely delicious, with authentic flavors and a wide variety of dishes to choose from.
One thing that really impressed me was the generous portion sizes. The servings were substantial, ensuring that no one left the restaurant feeling hungry. It was a delight to savor the flavorful and well-prepared dishes, knowing that I was getting my money's worth.
The staff at the restaurant were incredibly friendly and attentive. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and well-cared for. They were knowledgeable about the menu and happy to offer recommendations based on my preferences. Their warm and accommodating nature added to the overall positive dining experience.
The restaurant itself had a lovely decor, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The attention to detail in the interior design reflected the rich cultural heritage of Persian cuisine. It was a pleasure to dine in such a pleasant environment, which enhanced the overall enjoyment of the meal.
In conclusion, I highly recommend this Persian restaurant to anyone in search of delicious food, generous portions, friendly staff, and a charming ambiance. Read moreThis is my first visit to any restaurant serving Persian food. Overall, it was a nice experience.
Though from an Indian perspective the food was not utterly new to me, particularly if I compare with some of the north Indian food preparation. We tried a few things: started with a soup called , "Suppe Djo". It was indeed very good and people not exposed to such food style may find it exciting as a soup. They also provide very fine "Roti (flat bread)" with it once you ask for. It is similar to what we call "Rumali Roti" in India.
For main dishes we ordered "Djudje Kabab" and "Ghormeh Sabsi", both of which were recommended by one of my Persian friends. Both contains rice. I liked both of them. However, we have similar kind of food back in India, particularly, we prepare a similar kind of food like "Ghormeh Sabsi" in some part of Bengal. It contains herbs and beef and it is indeed very tasty. I was a bit surprised to find the similarities.
We also oredered "Borani". This sounds and tastes similar to what we call "Burani" back in some part of Bengal and occasionally drunk after having "Biriyani". However, "Borani" is thick and is not supposed to drink. It is nice to savour it every now and then while eating the main meal.
I also took some photos which are attached with this review. I recommend it, particularly to those who are looking for...
Read moreWe visited on a Saturday evening and were lucky to get a table, as the restaurant was quite full. The atmosphere was warm and lively, with guests enjoying their meals and conversations, creating a very pleasant vibe. The service was very friendly, polite, and attentive throughout the evening, without being intrusive. The food was excellent. We started with Dolmeh-Barg (stuffed grape leaves), which were fresh and full of flavor. For the main dishes, we had Djudje Kabab (chicken, marinated in a saffron-yogurt sauce) grilled to perfection, with a rich walnut-pomegranate sauce, and Baghali Polo Ba Morgh, with its aromatic dill-saffron rice and juicy chicken, served in its own flavorful sauce. Both rice sides were perfectly cooked and flavorful and the sauces were particularly delicious. The portions were generous, as you can see on the plates. Even though we were already quite full, we didn’t want to miss out on the persian ice cream, so we shared a Bastani Akbar Maschti. Definitely a great choice. It was our first time trying this combination of vanilla, saffron, pistachios and rose water and we absolutely loved it. We also enjoyed traditional teas (Chai Nana and Chai Samawar). Overall, we were very satisfied with both the flavors and the portion sizes. We had a lovely dinner and would...
