SAMS Café — Restaurant in Freiburg im Breisgau

Last Saturday I and my friends came here the first time, and the impression was really good. The drinks and the cakes were great. That is why we decided to go here again the next morning for brunch. We expected that it would be not easy to have a table for four; therefore, we called in advance to get a reservation. However, the person answering the phone recommended us just to come in and they could manage us a table easily. I arrived first and asked for a table of four to have brunch. The attitude of the personal was really bad and tended to blame us on not having the reservation. We did not mind to wait, but the attitude made us have to leave. I am sorry but I won't ever come to SAMS Cafe again, even though the restaurant has good food...

Very poor experience and very unfriendly staff. As soon as I entered the room, I was arranged to a bad seat by the waiter. After suggesting that I would like to sit at another table, I was immediately told that I could not drink the water I brought. We were holding a half-drunk beverage bottle, not intending to drink it here. And then you're asked if you're going to order? Again, no bringing your own drinks. The food was expensive, but the taste was terrible. I ordered three ice cream, and I didn't have the waffles I was supposed to have, but I saw it on the ice cream on the next table. Very bad experience, don't come here if you don't want...

Charming little cafe at the centre of Freiburg, except one of the staff isn’t so charming to its guests. Have a little kindness during the festive season to those who want to seek shelter from the cold winds, instead of scolding them because you don’t want the sliding doors to keep on getting open. Change your doors instead.
