I travel to Hamburg every few weeks and love to grab takeaway - something different every-time for the trip home. This was now my third attempt as ordering is kind of chaotic. So it’s not the place you want to go 30 mins before your train departs. However, I was able to order this time and grab three things - boneless chicken, bulgogi bibimbap and shrimp kimbap or rice rolls as it says on my receipt. I also got an additional sauce in every flavor. It appears they added in a gratis kimchi banchan and it’s pretty good. Food was ready fast, stayed hot for nearly 30 mins otw to my train and everything is well packaged and presented nicely. I do have to admit this is Korean for beginners and Deutschers - no offense. I’ll level up next time to see how they do with a dine in experience and then I can see how they do some of the more dank and spicier dishes. Read moreGangnam, located in the Europapassage in the heart of Hamburg, is an absolute gem for anyone who loves Asian cuisine and anime culture. The restaurant’s anime-themed decor creates a vibrant and unique atmosphere that makes dining here a fun experience. From the moment you walk in, you’re surrounded by colorful artwork and a lively ambiance that truly sets this place apart.
The food is simply outstanding. Every dish I tried was flavorful, well-prepared, and authentically Asian. Whether you’re craving sushi, ramen, or other Asian delicacies, Gangnam delivers with taste and quality. The portions are generous, and the presentation is spot-on, making every meal a visual and culinary delight.
Overall, Gangnam is a must-visit if you’re in Hamburg and looking for delicious Asian food in a cool, anime-inspired setting. I highly recommend it for both anime fans and food...

On top of that, there were no soy sauce or chili paste condiments available at the table, so there was no way to adjust the taste. This shows a lack of attention to both authenticity and customer experience.
Sadly, I cannot recommend this place, especially to anyone looking for real,...
